My dogs kept digging at the mulch around the AC unit. Which I labored over for several days to turn this into a bed. Moreover, I noticed that my little pup was jumping over the wires, and didn’t want any kind of mishap. Serves its purpose, and I’ll probably purchase more to continue lining around the beds to keep them out! The gate portion was kind of confusing. But did give me the ability to make a shorter/rugged section of fencing so there was no gap between where the fence ended and wall began. With the black color of the fence, it really blends with darker mulch cover. Almost disappears. Worth the cost. No way is my larger dog leaping over this. Now. Time to fix the mulch again for the LAST time. Digging no more! ... show more

    • Nice lightweight fence -- don't expect heavy duty

After a storm and removal of 3 trees, I had a huge gap in my fence. I'm going to have the fence replaced, but I had to get the backyard secured right away for my little dogs. A couple of days before the tree removal, I ordered this to use as a temporary fence. I looked at some beefier fences, but since it is a short-term solution, I didn't want to pay a lot. I doubt this would keep in dogs who are very rambunctious or determined to escape, and at 32" it is definitely too short for big dogs who jump. Note that it says decorative -- this is not a heavy gauge fence, but it is easy to put up and it worked perfectly for what I needed. The poles that attach each section together have tapered ends, so they are easy to hammer into the ground. Use a rubber mallet like they recommend so you don't mar the decorative tops of the poles. ... show more

This fence is awesome! Super easy to put up, and take down. I used them in my raised garden beds to keep critters out. They work very well for low grower, the deer can still reach over and get taller plants. Overall, I’m trilled with them. I really like that I can take them down and put them away in the winter in no time. I also like that they double as a trellis. The value is good since they are multi purpose, and you don’t have to buy posts or build anything. 10/10 recommend! ... show more

I would give this a 4 out of 5 mainly cause if you have hard ground then post will bend if you don’t prep for the post first. I had to learn the hard way, but once I got a piece of rebar and hit that in first then the post it was fine. It brought attention from the neighbors how nice it looked. It’s light weight easy to install and will be using again in the future on other projects. It more to keep small animals out or maybe just detour people from walking in yard then really being for security but that all we needed. This decorative outdoor garden fence is perfect for our needs. It is aesthetically pleasing, clean and simple. It was very easy to install and take down. We have taken down several different panels at different times for different reasons, and they are always easy to put back up. My only criticism is that the latch on the gate is difficult to use. It needs something like a little rubber cap to cover the sharp end of the latch. ... show more

Good fence for what I used it for . This is not a retainer fence for large animals. It’s more like an enclosure fence to protect your garden/flowers. My dogs were eating the service lines to my outside heat pump system, so I purchased this fence to enclose the heat pump to keep them away. This fence solved my issue. If I ever need to fence in anything else, I will definitely buy this product again ... show more

My dogs are athletic enough to clear 5-6 foot fences if they so desire, but this system (bought 2 sets) was sufficient to keep them contained within a larger (6ft) fence with light supervision and it was/is pretty. A 35 lb dog can easily pull them from the ground and get through if they so desire. (My old, nearly blind dog did this by accident before I put solar lights on them.) So, I would not depend on this to protect something precious from sustained attention, but it will work for a fence savvy, biddable dog. I think it would work fairly well to keep supervised/random dogs and kids out of garden areas, particularly if the dogs are under 30 lbs (14 kg). It will not protect your small dog from a larger dog, and if your toy dog is going after your mail carrier you need something taller. I would buy again if needed. ... show more

My back yard is fenced but I needed to have a smaller safe place for my fur babies. I live near a river and have A Lot of hawks and eagle's flying overhead. It is lightweight but for the cost I expected that. It looks nice and the height is perfect for me. I bought 2 sets and also used some heavy duty snow fence I had left after a garden project. Would be nice for camping Lightweight and easy to put up. Just be sure the ground is a bit soft or the fence will bend when putting the stakes in the ground. The gate is not a great. Because it is thin and only secures with a post on one side an active jumper could possibly open it. ... show more
