This Kyate metal fence panel kit is perfect for lightweight protection to keep small animals in or to provide protection for delicate plantings in your garden. The set includes 10 welded wire black coated panels that are just under 3 feet high and 2-1/2 feet wide when installed. The individual panels allow for direction and elevation changes. They are held together with metal stakes that insert through looped ends of each panel. The stakes are pointed to assist in soil penetration. When fully inserted, they provide 8+ inches of support underground. Although the images on the Amazon page show the panels supporting a dog with their paws pressed upon the upper panel, we doubt this fence will offer enough resistance to keep a lunging pup inside the corral. We were disappointed when we installed the fence to find our kit only came with 10 stakes instead of the advertised 11 count. We were able to rest the unsupported end on the edge of a deck and will attempt to clamp it to the wood members. Due to the shortage though, this kit cannot be used to encircle an area as advertised. ... show more

    • Sturdiest of many kinds of garden fence panels, no plastic.

I've tried a couple of different kinds of these fence panels. This one has the same thickness of wire as another I have that also uses long iron posts, but it's a little flexible in comparison. The other has a scalloped top, and it seems that the curve adds to its strength, but at the same time, makes it a little lower in the center than it's full 32" height. Both of these fence panel sets are much sturdier than a lot of other kinds, most of which come with plastic connectors or plastic stakes. Even so, a big rambunctious dog is going to be able to push these down if it wants to. I have seen people using these kinds of fences at campgrounds. You could tie/zip-tie the panels together in a circle and probable not need the stakes. It would be very difficult to push the stakes down into road gravel that many campsites have. Although some may be annoyed at any difficulty sliding the stakes through the loops, these are made well and work smoothly for the most part. I've been able to get all the stakes through without too much trouble. These panels make for an attractive fence for the yard and garden. It's nice that they are portable and can be taken down or left up long term. I have to either set them up in mulch, or move them for mowing, so keep that in mind. Even so, I can recommend them as a great choice to those who need some fencing of this sort. ... show more

I got the set of 10 pieces because rabbits in spring can devour my garden in a day so I need something I can set up, then put away when my plants are larger. This is a very good value for the money. I have had similar sets and spent a lot more but those had a curve on top so a determined rabbit might have been able to clear it. The panels are very sturdy and the poles slide in easily so if you need a quick gate you can easily pull up a pole to walk through. The extra long poles are great and really help to keep this fence stay put. I only wish the 1 1/4" gaps were a bit smaller because baby rabbits (the ones that eat EVERYTHING in early spring) could still slip through. I'm going to add something up to about a foot in height to attach along the bottom while the bunnies are still babies. Very happy to have these! ... show more

This fence is the perfect play pen for my dogs, while outside. The poles were easy to drive in the ground with the use of a hammer. It tool me and my husband roughly 20 minutes to set them up the way that we wanted to. Each panel os the perfect size. All of the panels are nice, thick, and sturdy and are made of quality metal. The entire system when installed correctly is nice and solid. This fence is so versatile and can be used for just about any type of animal. The poles can be easily driven in just about any type of soil. This is a must have for some outdoor time for your furbabies. This review is for an Outdoor 5 Panel Dog Fence. I just got a puppy and have a perfect small area for him to relieve himself. The only issue is I needed something to fence him in and this 5-panel fence is perfect. The panels are 33”H x 29” W, and the stakes add another 8.3” in length when it’s all together. Installation couldn’t be easier just line up the holes and put the stake through. The fencing itself is a nice thickness, durable, and not easy to bend. I like and recommend this fencing, and when the dog gets bigger, I’m going to put the fencing around my garden as a border. ... show more

I have a summer issue with the beautiful deer that hang around our house. They tend to enjoy the fruits of my vegetable gardening. I love the deer, and I do feed them, however, they also tend to help themselves to the veggies that I grow. I have tried fencing around my garden, however, it was only about 3 feet high, and it didn’t seem to be good enough to keep them from reaching their heads across and grabbing what they wanted. So when I saw this fence, I decided that this was going to be the solution. When I took the fencing out of the box, I could tell that it is easily going to protect my garden. There is no way the deer are going to be able to get over it, around it, between it, under it or any other way. I think I will finally be able to consume my own garden grown vegetables instead of sharing them with my beautiful deer.
