We have been receiving and reviewing these types of fence for a while now. We have accumulated several sets and appreciate the interchangability of them. Some panels use 3 loops to connect, some 4 and these use 5. Regardless, they all will link together to provide a fast enclosure for your pet or child. We use them to protect our landscaping from the deer and rabbits. This set is improved with an operable gate to allow access to your enclosure. We appreciate it because it allows us to enter the protected area to weed or water. One improvement that we would have liked to see was a better engagement for the latch on the one operable section of fence. A single hook provides only one point of contact to secure the gate. We also think it would be better if the two stakes that frame the gate opening should have been longer to provide better support for an operating section of fence. Understandably, this is a lightweight solution to fencing and does not intend to replicate wrought iron or a picket fence. We appreciate it for the ease with which we can relocate and reposition the panels depending on our need. If your planting beds increase in size, it's easy enough to pull up the stakes and reconfigure. The fence is typically stronger if you change direction now and again. A straight run is more likely to be bowed over if a pet or child leans against it. Having a few panels change direction at 45° or 90° will bolster the installation and add rigidity. The black finish looks great and doesn't attract too much attention from your flowers if used in the garden. The metal stakes drive easily with a small hammer. Depending on your soil, you might even be able to push the stakes in by hand. Dry soil will be harder, so use a hammer. ... show more

I love the look of this fence. It really dresses up our yard. The rounded tops on the panels and knobs that go on the top of each post, give it personality, and it looks really nice. The metal is solid and didn't bend when I hammered the posts in. The ground was hard in some areas, so I poured a little water on it, to get the posts in easier. It's easy to install using a mallet to pound the posts in. The metal is solid and didn't bend when I hammered them. I did that on the first few, and it it distorted the grooves that the knobs screw onto, so it was very difficult to screw them on. I used a mallet on the rest, and that made it much easier to get the knobs on them. The gate and lock work well, and it's big enough that the lawnmower fits through it. I got this temporary fence to keep my animals off my patio and it works great. I love the little gate. It is easy to use. It’s another nice feature is that the steaks are long enough to really secure the fence to prevent the animals from pushing it over. Very sturdy and works great!

My dachshunds have always liked to roam around, now that they have their own little fenced in area they are happy to lay outside and sunbath. I am happy that they won't go wandering off when I take my eyes off them for a second. Installation was simple and straightforward and I was able to put the whole thing together myself. It only took about 5 minutes to set the whole thing up once everything was unpacked. The only issue I had was with the lock on the gate, in the photos it shows it around the post, mine had too much of a gap so I ended up moving it closer and attached it to the smaller part of the fence. ... show more

Good set overall, has superior metal stakes to some other versions I've tried. This is a simple fence for keeping your dogs or kids within a smaller area or section of the yard. Also works well as a decorative border around a vegetable garden, which is what we used it for.

I really like the aesthetics of these fence panels. It makes the lawn/yard look very nice. Made a good grade metal, offers knob finals to top of the aesthetics, the panels don't bend while installing them. I used a wooden kitchen mallet, but I have user a hammers and a terry cloth towel over the posts too, both work well. The gate and the accompanied lock leveled up nicely and works great! Our Pekingese likes to explore and she needs to be kept away from a Pine tree in our yard, due to sap and furry paws, this fence works at keeping her exploring to a select area, and I am extremely pleased with this fencing, the durability, the height, and the ease of installation and would definitely recommend it highly. They are bigger than expected, not a bad thing. The only thing is, you can simply use them as a border or a very small pet if need to give them some space of their own outside. They are thin and would easily get knocked over by a larger pet. Used them for decor though and they have worked fine.
