I an using these to prevent skunks and possums from digging under my mobile home. I picked this brand because of the close spacing and thickness of the bars. I have heavy clay soil, but made sure to soak it thoroughly before putting the animal barriers into the ground. Once that was done I was able to push these in about halfway and then easily pound them in the rest of the way with a rubber mallet. These are reasonably priced and look like they will do the job. Been at this place for 7 years. Have 3 raised beds for gardening and this year I started concentrating on perennials. The rabbits here are a real problem. They eat absolutely EVERYTHING I plant. They turned my Service Berry tree into a bush and my burning bush has no growth at the bottom because they chew the new growth off. So everything I've been planting I have to put chicken wire around the base or these unwelcome varmints will destroy, deform or devour them. So frustrating. I just kept ordering boxes of these "varmint fences" until the whole perimeter of the back yard was enclosed. Was quite costly I have to say but it appears this is the solution to my problem so it's money well spent! I am ecstatic. Nothing can jump over these because there's fence already there but it has gaps for the rabbits to get thru. Not anymore!!!!!! I am happy to report I've taken the chicken wire off of two plants and there has been NO bunny activity at all. I don't even see them anymore except in the neighbors' yard; which is exactly where I want them to be. There were three of them playing & chasing each other today in the yard across the street. They actually made me smile! That's a first in a long, long time that I've smiled at rabbit activity. After I recover from this expense (am retired) I will buy another box of fencing just to have on hand in case something happens to one of them. Life is good. ... show more

I have 2 dogs that often spend their afternoons in the backyard and one of them has recently become what any owner fears..a digger. He has been digging around the chain link fence and once he made an opening big enough, he would encourage the other two to go stroll around with him, fortunately I live in a small neighborhood surrounded by nothing but trees for 10 miles. I ended buying two packs of these and let me tell you they got the job done. I did have trouble where one of the post had cement beneath but I spaced the barrier fence a bit away and used some of the zip ties to tie it to the fence and it's still holding up. I placed the barrier just as shown on the pictures and even added some ties to the top for extra measure which helped a lot. I also placed some near the wooden fence side of the yard since there was a concerning gap near the gate, I just kind of hammered it down and made sure to place it as close to the fence as possible. The paint chipped a bit but it didn't bend or twist at the strike of the hammer so you know it's sturdy. Once I was done I let my dogs back out and the misfit decided to try to pull the barrier away but it held firm. Definitely would recommend 100% ... show more

So I love the wildlife, but the bunny rabbits are being given their eviction notice! LOL. I'm wanting to put in a big vege garden with raised bed which I need as I'm handicapped. I don't plan to feed all my hard work to the bunny rabbits. My raised bed are going to be 2-3 feet high because I need that for my back. Going to have to do full fence to keep out the deer too, but they're easier to keep out than the little rabbits. These are great to use all along the bottom of the fence. Strong sturdy metal, simple and easy to install/use and will last. The regular price $36.99 per the listing for the 10 pack, and on sale right now $26.99 I'm good with. Of course I'm going to need a bunch, I'll just keep getting them until I have enough. As always I only do honest reviews and update if neeeded.
