Not anything like the picture of the product. The depth ranges with each piece and they’re bent and uneven and all of the sides are rough cut. The color and quality are completely off.

    • A great surface layer
Looks great oiled, and the pack gave me optiions for picking sections with cool grain patterns. It is a single slice of wood, so it would be quite easy to crack along the grain. I was skinning over other material, so not an issue for me. You could glue together 2 or more layers alternating the grain direction for strength -- diy plywood. ... show more

    • The color is beautiful
Overall quality is VERY GOOD. Consistent color. They are cut really well. The wood is a bit rough so a VERY light sanding can be a good idea. Slightly bowed due to how thin the wood is, but straighten out in a day under some weight.

    • Warped
Product was quite warped when it arrived, and I couldn't straighten it. Since I wanted to LASER-engrave the wood, a flat surface is important for focusing. So, I wasted my money unfortunately.
