This is not a tension rod. Tension rod is held up by pressure the spring has on the walls. This is an adjustable rod that needs the two cups on each end to hold it up. So if you are looking for something you can put up without additional support this definitely isn’t what you want. I ordered it and hadn’t been able to put it where I wanted to use it until now. It’s the wrong one and I’ve gone past the return date. Oh well, my mistake but in my opinion they should not be using the word tension it should be called adjustable that’s all. I can’t say enough good things about these curtain rods. I purchased a dozen of them in a new house because I didn’t want to put marks or nails in the walls. They have worked out excellent. One time I needed them to stretch beyond their capacity, and I realized I had an extra piece from another rod, and since they all screw in together, and gave me the distance and length I needed. These things work great. I can’t believe I had not use this style before. One last thing, they come with plastic stick on curtain rod holders for inside your window frame, and those were great too. They’ve been up a few months now and they are still sticking well. I’ve also use the rods without them and they were great that way too. Can’t say enough good things. ... show more

I ordered two of these and there great. The only issue is in one of the boxes it was missing the wall mounts. It was easy to install and works great. I can't seam to find out how to contact the seller about the missing wall mount. It would be great if they could send me the wall mount.

The media could not be loaded. Good for price. Takes 2 people to instal it. If you try to tighter one side and other side will get lose. So one on each side, at the same time.
