I recently bought a POE surveillance system and of course, the included cables are not long enough to run from one end of the house to the other. Looked at the manufacturers website and the 100 ft runs i needed were considerably more. Ended up looking on Amazon and found these.     • Good cable but the waterproof covers are a pain

We were installing a Reolink camera system and the 60 ft cables weren't long enough. The preinstalled connector covers seem like a good idea but we couldn't pull cable without them hanging up. Ended up cutting them off. Luckily all my connectors are inside the eaves so there not out in the weather. Also these come coiled and you need to uncoil (and untangle them). Let them sit on the lawn in the sun a little while and they are much easier to pull ... show more

Product description,reviews and value appeared to be good..so I purchased the 2 Pack 100ft ea. When they arrived and examined the product the cable ends were stretched and the outer jacket was damaged and to mention also the cable was bent sharply in places at the first 18 inches at each of the ends. The manufacturer needs to take better care of the Product. Who wants to pay for tattered Cables? Not me! 3 star. ... show more

I saved approximately $30+ buying this Cat5e Ethernet Cable for my son's security camera. I purchased an additional POE camera for his system, but didn't have a cable. And the camera vendor seems to want so much for for a simple Cat 5e cable. I examined this cable extensively with the ones which came with his system, they were absolutely identical as far as I could tell, which included the cable ratings. They might be from the same OEM. The cable worked perfectly on his POE system system. And with 100' of cable and the dust connector on the end, what a bargain. ... show more

One of the cables that came with my cameras got cut somehow, so I bought this to replace it. It's not white and easily hidden like the original cables that came with my system, but being gray isn't really a big deal for me. It's also thicker and seems to be higher quality than what my system came with. Bonus was that it came with a new seal for the coupler, which was nice since I had lost the old one when I installed my system and had to improvise a seal (clear RTV). ... show more
