Awesome mask for snorkeling, it is not meant to dive or free dive as it will press into your face, but for snorkeling it is one of the best masks I have ever owned, very easy to put on, does not fog, you never have water in it as it has valves designed to push the water out if any ever gets in. Intake valve is a bit restrictive, but if you are not racing it is good enough to breath with ease, viewing angle is incredible. Carrying bag is a great addition to the package just recheck stitches on the hook of the carrying case, mine got loose in the first use, but nothing than a few stitches will not fix... Overall a great mask to have, my experience has been excellent, make sure you get the proper size and you'll love it too. ... show more

My sister really wanted to try this style. I wasn't convinced. There was a lot of negative articles about this style, plus, this item got a bad fakespot rating. However, I took a m/s and a L/XL to the Bahamas and my siblings passed them around. Everyone had a great time. They are SUPER easy to use (you can breathe through your nose), and there's no learning curve. The draining system seems to work fine (I did have some leaks around my forehead until I pulled the strap so it was tighter on the top) and the air passing over the eyes kept the fog away. How long will these hold up? I have no idea. I don't have any way to use them except on trips. The elastic band is my first concern, I wish that was made out of swimming goggle material. But I don't think anyone makes it that way. The elastic is more comfortable and easier to pass around (remember, there's no mouthpiece, so sharing is less gross). The silicone valves need to be kept clean, but they seemed pretty large/sturdy, no complaints about the quality. I don't think 'paying up' would get you much more than this! ... show more

I bought 2 of these... one for my husband and one for me. We went snorkeling a couple of weeks back, in Mexico. Fit my face great, never fogged up, and lots of vision. Breathing was comfortable and felt natural. As for my husband, he has facial hair and we were thinking it wasn't going to work out at all. He pulled it a bit tighter and was able to use it just fine. Occasionally he would come up and let out a bit of water that made its way in due to his facial hair but he said it wasn't much at all. Would definitely recommend. ... show more

I saw someone using this in the pool and asked them what it was. I immediately ordered this one. I've now added it to my list of some of the best things I've ever purchased! The minute I put it on in the pool, it sucks right to your face and no water gets in. No fogging! Crystal clear view underwater! And so easy to breathe. I'm just amazed and wish I'd had one years ago. Even if you're only using it currently for swimming, like I am, it's so much easier than having to turn your head to breathe and get water in your mouth and spit water out into the pool while you're swimming. You just keep your head down and swim really fast with this on! I love it! Looks great on, very comfortable, great value for the money compared to regular snorkel equipment, doesn't weigh hardly anything. Best snorkeling experience ever! I've been to many different places to snorkel and this is the first time I did it without getting a headache from the old type of mask. I found it easy to breath. Nice long slow inhale from nose and long slow exhale through mouth. Visibility was amazing and absolutely no fogging. Once adjusted in pool or shallow water you're good to go. We purchased two of these for our upcoming trip to Bermuda next month. We couldn't wai to try them out, so we took them to my sister's pool for a test run. I was a little concerned because my son had told me that these don't seal as well with a beard. I keep my beard closely trim, so I was hoping for the best. To my surprise, they sealed extremely well. I had very, very minimal leakage while using them especially after adjusting the straps and making sure they seated properly on my face. My wife said she has zero leakage, so unless you a very full or thick beard, I don't think you need to worry. We've used traditional snorkeling masks in the past and these are so much better. First of all, the field of vision is so much larger than standard masks and very, very clear. There was almost zero condensation while using them. They are so much more comfortable than the standard masks, plus you don't have to bite down on the snorkeling tube like you do with traditional mask. You can breath easiely through your nose, or through you mouth. All in all, we're extremly pleased with these and can't wait to explore the lagoons in Bermuda!
