I just needed a simple headphone holder for my studio headphones and this works perfectly. You get a folding headphone bar, a metal plate with an adhesive back, and a transparent sticker. The bar itself is very sturdy and seems like it would last forever. Where you set your headphones is padded, so no damage to the band. The metal has a nice strong adhesive to it so it will stay in place. The bar sticks to the metal plate securely, my headphones weigh about 9 ounces and they hold nicely. I'm not really sure what the transparent sticker is for so I didn't use it. The other nice thing is that when my headphones aren't on the holder, I can just fold the bar up and it is out of the way, so I don't need to pull it off the desk. I picked this up for my new desk setup, mounted it in the corner of the desk where my gaming PC is and hung TWO headphones from it. Haven't had a single issue with it as it works amazingly. The little magnet base hasn't separated from the table at all and the top of it makes it easy to remove the entire hook if I need to.... but it also folds up onto itself for when I need space. It might seem like something simple but this thing actually works really great, the fact that it uses a magnet and doesn't need the table to be drilled is just amazing. I think I will actually purchase at least another one for my other desk to save desk space with my headphones. ... show more

It has a separate magnet with adhesive and a protective film for attaching to a desk, which was my situation.
