My wife and I downsized to a condo and time flies... we have been living in our condo going on three years and noticed that the inside of our two-story windows were definitely overdue for cleaning... The problem is that we didn't have a way to get to them. We needed something that was easily stored, but expandable to reach the upper windows. This ladder is exactly what we were looking for. The ladder expands easily... just lift each section and make sure that the locking buttons engage. continue until its extended. (There have been a few times where one clicked in, but the other needed a little help to engage,) To collapse the ladder does take a little care. I find that the pneumatic feature doesn't work all that well and I have learned to hang on to each section and manually control the movement as each section is collapsed. I was looking for a ladder I could keep in my 5th wheel. I have a ladder mounted on the camper but if I need to access a slide or something the camper ladder would not do what I needed. The ladder fits perfect in my side pocket. I mounted some velcro strips to hold it out of the way. I like the way it lets down, no smashed fingers.
