  • Light, well thought out sturdy for stove usage.
This set is well thought out. It packs down light and very small and the pots are well proportioned. I use a Coleman 425F stove and it is slightly smaller than the larger stoves so using the large pot and the frying pan together at once is doable. The folding handles are sturdy, though one improvement would be either a means to lock them together when folded out or some sort of spring action. sometimes you can hit a handle when cooking and have to pull it back out--watch the heat! The hard anodized coating makes them last longer and work better. They are cleaner, easy to clean and if you oil them they wont stick. I wash them, dry them completely and I mean COMPLETELY- this means shake the pots upside down to dislodge water from inside the rolled lip of the pot, and once dry store them by swiping a thin coat of oil inside them, and drizzle oil in the pot or pan before using them and nothing will stick. Now this is using them on s Coleman stove where I can adjust the heat and use a more consistent heat. Using them over an open fire is another story. I am not using mine that way, and can not attest to their performance as such--but kept clean, dry and oiled before and after, and stuffing some cotton scrap material between the pots keeps mine looking new inside and out with no scratches. The storage and nesting is excellent! They are lightweight. They heat up faster and use less fuel. The only downsides are the plastic bowels and dishes and "ladle/spoon" The plastic large bowl and two dishes act as serving or snack dishes and come in handy. I get that Yodo wanted a multi person cooking set that can also serve as a smaller lightweight "mess Kit" It was a good idea, but for my needs not needed. I can though take the small or medium pot alone on a solo or kayak trip for cooking, but I wont use the folding spoon/ladle, or the "cup/bowls" that are plastic. They are a bit small and fllimsy. I do however bring them along with the large bowel and two plates and use them as serving dishes or to hold foods while cutting up and preparing large dishes, or to hold some chips or snacks, or slices of bread. I use enamel camp dishes and prefer them over any plastic, even a solo trip I would bring one dish, bowel and cup from my enamel set. Again the compact package is impressive that all of that minus the bamboo rice spatula and folding spoon, as I wont put wood or even plastic in my pots, definitely NEVER metal of any kind! I use nothing but pure 100% silicone utensils in and around my pots for cleanliness and non scratching attributes. So in conclusion, this set is excellent. The quality is apparent and the ease of use is satisfactory. They take up a small footprint and offer a LOT of versatility . You can easily cook for 4 people. The small pot will heat up one full can of beans or tomatoes or soup. It can be used alone for solo camping, will fit in any kayak fore or aft hatch and should hold up on a small wood fired bushcraft stove if the heat is managed, a blazing fire will disscolour and abuse any pot or pan no matter who made it. clean up is easy and nonstick surfaces with responsible cooking methods. I really like this product and feel for the money and the amount you get with it to be the better value, even with re branded versions or similar products. ... show more

  • Exactly what I was looking for, and a good value
This set of cookware, compared to many of the other sets I looked at, looks like a bargain. It arrived today in perfect condition. It includes 3 pots, all of which come with lids, plus a fry pan that's a decent size for frying eggs and bacon in the morning. The smallest pot holds about 1 liter, so it's perfect for boiling water for tea or coffee, eliminating the need for a water kettle. The large pot is big enough to cook pasta for several people, and the middle pot is the perfect soze for spaghetti sauce, soups, stews, or chili. Included are some additional accessories: a mesh stuff sack with corded closure, 4 plastic bowls, 3 plastic plates that can be used for serving, a folding soup ladle, a wooden rice spoon, and a loofah pad for cleaning. The cookware appears to be nicely finished and sturdily made, light weight for backpacking, but of reasonable thickness. Since it's anodized aluminum, it should last for many years. I'll be using it on a 2 burner Coleman propane stove for car camping. I look forward to trying it out this camping season ... show more

  • It's just OK except for the pan + great customer service
4 stars: Immediately after writing this review, customer service contacted me and offered to send me a new set. I will try out their pan again. But I am bumping them up to 4 stars from 2 stars because their customer service was very friendly and speedy. 2 stars: I don't know how I feel about this set. Brought it on a camping road trip and used it multiple times during the trip. The pots are ok, the plastic bowls and plates are flimsy and just ok. Everything about it is fine and does what it's supposed to do except for the pan. It is definitely NOT non-stick. After using it to make eggs in the morning and stir-fry veggies, it is all scratched up and impossible to wash clean even though I tried using oil AND butter to cook. It's compact which is the only thing I like about it. Besides that, I'd say if you are planning on using the pan more, get something from another company. ... show more

  • Love these!
I really like this set of compact camping cookware. It packs down well. I’ve only brought it car camping with the family once so far but I was surprised at how much food I was able to make in them! Their small size is deceptive. They were pretty easy to clean. I did cook over an open fire, so like with anything, they’ve got that scorched look, but they held up well. And they’re definitely compact and versatile enough to take backpacking. ... show more

  • A Camping Must Buy!!
These camping pots are AWESOME!! They are compact, easy to use and warm food up quick. I did oil them before use as instructed in other reviews, and let me tell you, I think this was the game changer with these pots. I literally left left over cooked cheesy potatoes in one pot, and cooked pulled pork in another for 3 days, and when I was finally able to get them washed, the food came right out after soaking them in hot water and some Dawn dish soap for about 10 minutes. Great great buy! Very happy with quality and the price! ... show more

  • Compact light weight, but plastic will melt and items will stick
I like that with this many items it is as light weight and compact as you can get. The items area built sturdy with exception to the cheap plastic handles. These handles are small and thin, which will work when cooking over a burner or small stove. However, it will not work for an open fire or over a multi-burner hot surface. We used the skillet to warm up some frozen chicken, which ended up sticking all over the bottom of the pan and discoloring it. We used the cooker/large pot to boil water and warm up our rice packets. This worked well and cleaned up nice. However, I will have to purchase other cookware to take on long treks, as this will not serve the purpose that was intended. I do not feel I can return the item since it has now been used, so I will have to keep it and try to find an applicable use. ... show more
