Buyer beware!!!! Color of Product is NOT Consistent. You have no idea what color you will be receiving (see picture). Picture of frames are from two different packages that both have a label of black. We are doing a picture gallery project on one wall of our dining room. We needed 12 frames of the same color. Product is shipped with two frames per package, so we ordered 6. When they arrived 10 frames were of consistent color (black) and 2 frames brown. I returned the brown with a return comment of being the wrong color. They shipped back the same color (brown). If you only need two frames, each package of two frames DO have the correct color. And the quality is decent. Also, I actually don't mind either color and we could use either BUT would like all (12) of them to be the same. Saying they are distressed is not a good reason, they should at least be in the same family. It should be noted that it's not hard to look at the side of the frame without removing it from packaging to see the color, so this could have been caught by opening the box, especially after I returned the product saying the color is wrong. I'm in the process of returning the return hoping I get black. If I don't, I will be returning all them. I have wasted enough time and gas returning these items. UPDATE: I finally received my 12 black frames for my project. And they look great. So I've changed my rating from two stars to four. ... show more

Great frames, look perfect. Sadly the Black looks more like a dark brown. I ended up just painting them so they were actually black.

    • The black is not great
It doesn't look weathered, it looks like somebody went at it with a fork. The finish is uneven and there are shiny spots that look like glue.

    • Very lightweight
These frames are very lightweight, which will be a plus if you plan to hang them on a wall. The frames have more of a gray tinge than light brown. You'll have to clean the glass on both sides before inserting your photos. They're okay, but I think they're a good value.
