There are many sizes available, these are reasonably flexable and easy to fill with your vitamin supplements. Images I took were of size 2. I find size 0 is too large, horse-pills as some say, but they are available if that is what you are needing

My 18 year old cat takes Elura, a liquid appetite stimulant. He "hates* the taste of it. I mean HATES the taste of it. I have tried masking the taste or doing a chaser, but neither has worked to disguise the taste. As a result, we often don't see the appetite bounce because he is mad about the taste of the medicine. His dose is 0.4ml and the size 2 will hold pretty much all of it. I usually dose him 0.3ml and it will definitely hold that amount. You do need to work quickly when filling with a liquid med (do a trial run with water to get a feel for it) but this has been a lifesaver and is reducing stress on a sweet old kitty. If you have a smaller animal, I did split his dose between two of the size 3 gel caps from another brand and that worked too. But the size 2 is okay for my cat with a quick water chaser to avoid it getting stuck in this throat. I wish I had found these months ago! ... show more

I had just bought the prescription for my dog's heart medicine. Then they got his lab results back and they said NO, change to half. Half a capsule? (for a human, it's easy, just pour into 4 oz of juice or milk, drink half one morning and half the next) ... but for a dog, I was lost. The vet said, buy empty caps and put pour half in them. I found these and they are exactly the same size, I chose the white and red because his prescription is white and orange. Perfect solution! ... show more

My dog was biting on pills hidden in wet food and then spitting the pills and food out. The vet suggested putting the pills in capsules. This has worked well. The dog takes the capsule with the pill inside just fine disguised in wet food. The pills are for relief of arthritis pain so it was important she take them. ... show more

My dog takes a medication every day that comes only in a powdered form and tastes awful. I was having to use a very large capsule for a very small dog, because that's all I could find locally. This is perfect! I coat it with a little canned dog food and she swallows it right down!
