I liked this water shoe. It was nice and tight on my foot. But the only bad thing, which who knows if you can prevent, a lot of sand gets inside. But being it’s a water shoe sand will get in there. Great grip for rough surfaces and the drawstring tightens great.

If you plan to wear with socks then get the same size as you would other xero shoes (specifically the speed force shoe). If you plan to wear barefoot, go down a half size. Planning on using for a white-water trip. Seem well made and like they would dry quickly. Wide toe box is nice. My only concern is that the sole is a little thin and sharp rocks underfoot could pinch a little. We'll find out soon enough.

With absolutely no hyperbole, I think this is the best pair of shoes I've ever bought. I originally purchased these for vacation/beach wear, but I their real value became apparent to me when I started to wear them for athletic use. They are lightweight, well-ventilated, secure, anatomically neutral, and comfortable. All of these features make them equally adept for lifting and running. The only damage on them thus far is a small tear on the right pinkie toe from when I went trail running, and that can easily be mended with a bit of Gear-Aid tape if the hole widens. I genuinely can't recommend these enough.

Xero shoes are generally excellent. Unfortunately, as much as this shoe could be another great option, the upper material tears the skin off within a few hours of use. If the material could be softened or changed, it would likely be a good shoe. But, as of now, nope.

I have so far gone on a handful of day hikes in these shoes In muddy conditions. So far the shoes have held up well and have been more protective than I imagined they would be. I have narrow feet and these shoes fit perfectly with a little extra room in the toe box for my toes to splay out. These shoes dry fast and are comfortable without socks. These shoes don’t offer support, and you can feel the ground through the shoe very well, which is a plus for me, but don’t buy these if you are expecting cushion.

Wore these on a white water rafting trip. Purchased a little large. Worked well. I would recommend this product. I own 6 pairs of various xero shoes products. Both shoes and sandals. And am happy with all of them.
