I hope I'm not jinxing myself with this review, but I love this thing. This is my first off road bike, but I have 15 years and several hundred thousand miles on-road riding experience. I wanted a cheap used Japanese small dirt bike to ride with my son and something for him to ride after he grows a bit more. But, everything I found used was at least twice the price, so I ordered one of these. Glad I did. This thing rips. It looks awesome - not cheap. Good looking welds, nice shiny finish on the engine cases, and legit-looking suspension. It also rides great. I'm 5' 9" 205 lb., but I just turned some preload into the rear shock to set sag and the suspension feels great to me. Plenty of power to pull wheelies and pitch the front end upward during jumps. I've never had more fun on a motorcycle than this. I found all hardware included and no quality issues except one. The fuel tank outlet barb was molded incorrectly, with a solid wall of plastic blocking it. A drill bit later, no issues. I did go for the upgraded carburetor and never bothered to start it with the original, so I can't comment on how much difference that made. I'm running 15W-40 Rotella T oil. The manual is a little unclear on how to check the oil. It says to "place the bike on level ground" but is that on the side stand or with the bike itself level? The shipping oil showed full on the dipstick with it on the side stand, but I can't imagine that's right. When I changed it, I filled it to the full mark on the dipstick while holding the bike level. That took ~0.8 quart, which is what the manual called for so I'm calling it right. So, if you're the least bit handy, don't hesitate to get one of these. Go over everything with a wrench and blue Loctite, monitor your chain tension closely, and due your due diligence on the fuel system. ... show more

  • Great product for the value

If your looking for a pit bike that's cheap classified dirt bike to get your hands into and learn, this is the bike for you if your able to ride 140cc. You do have to build your bike to start riding if you didn't buy from a dealer. The only issues I had so far was bolts fall off sometimes so lock tite everything. Other than that the only other issues where finding mods and customizable parts. Since the Chinese bike community seems to be more YouTube oriented and forums and groups. You can find most of the mods your looking for though. Seems the sky can be the limit with these bikes if you want to look into it. I still think Dbx1 needs to be added to a lot more of these Amazon parts list descriptions though. ... show more

  • Not a satisfied customer

The bike was originally not shipped correctly. Said it was delivered and it was actually delivered back to the manufacturer, and we were not aware. Finally received bike and seat was damaged and various other marks and minor damages. Bike was rode twice and both times my son and the bike had to be picked up because the bike broke down. Very dissatisifed with purchase of this item. And my son was heart broken because he saved his own money to buy this bike. Hopefully we are able to return for a refund. ... show more

  • It's a great dirt bike for the money, however

Be prepared to find a local True Value Hardware to replace the missing nuts and bolts. I am assuming that they went missing during the shipping process, which Estes really sucks at!! Seller, you should find another motor company to use. I have dealt with Estes for many years in my line of work and from my personal experiences, they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. The bike itself is pretty peppy for what you are paying. Handles trails very well. Decent tires. Brakes are meh, but they do the job. If you order this DB, I recommend ordering a new carb for it at the same time. The one it comes with limits the capability of the DB. A larger engine sprocket will give you more top end for straights, but the smaller one is more fun coming into and out of turns. 2nd gear is your best friend on this DB. Go ahead and bite the bullet if you are mulling this one over. Make sure you order that carb too. ... show more

  • Fun for low price

Easy to assemble. Only drawback was it was missing some bolts for the handle bars and the rear shock. Made due with off the shelf stuff for now. My 14 year old loves the 140cc. 4 speed manual. Rips well. It's pretty much a KTM clone. Really no complaints. It's a good bike, alot of fun, and easy to work on and upgrade. ... show more
