Flattering stretch to it. Not SO tight that it looks unprofessional — just has a nice fitted look to it. Do wish belt had a slightly looser option (size up) to it though… it starts to feel a bit stifling mid-day, even at its loosest notch, so a slightly larger (m) belt option would be nice to go with the small size. At first, I thought this skirt was too long but once I put it on I liked it. I like that it goes to (almost my knees) and that it's so stretchy. It's fitted without being too tight. I really like this product and would highly recommend it!

Stretchy material. It doesn't constrict your legs like most pencil skirts because of the stretch. I'm 5'9" 185lbs wear size 14-16 pants and have a 35in waist. I bought the xlarge and it fits perfectly. It's stretch allows some give if you aren't quite the right size. The belt is Stretchy too so don't worry about constraint. It looks really good on me with different tops. Update: one of my belt loops broke and another is starting to loosen. It may be just this particular unit, but watch of that. I'm going to fix this myself with a needle and thread and reinforce the others. I still love this skirt though! ... show more

My jean size is normally a 6 or 8 in Levi’s. I’m 5ft 7in and weigh 154lbs. I was debating between a medium and large after reading reviews. A friends of mine had this skirt and told me that it has a lot of give so if I’m right on the fence between sizes, I should be aware. I ordered two skirts, black and green pleated with belt, both were standard to each other, I decided to go with a medium and I’m glad I did because there’s still a lot of give. I’m def no small but I may have been able to get a small. Sure it would’ve been too tight and probably not even flattering but, like I said, I could’ve gotten into it. Not very helpful to know other than I’d just like you to realize the give, to size down if between sizes, and that they are good quality. Not costumes looking at all. I only add that because I’ve bought lots of pin up clothing and realized it wasn’t really intended for anything other than a costume upon arrival. I used this for a pin up contest. It looked great. When I wear it in real life, I get tons of compliments, and it’s versatile for a night out or dressy work stuff. It’s comfortable enough to wear all day in my opinion. I will post a photo next time i remember to. I love this skirt its perfect for the office and has just the right amount of stretch, the elasticity in it allows me to sit at my desk and it bounces back into shape when i stand, unlike other skirt i.e Hybrid co skirts where they stretch and remain stretched so im constantly having to pull it up. I will be buying more...probably in every color. Lol I probably could have went with large and been fine but I bloat during my time of the month and have a post baby pouch so i factored that into my selection. ... show more
