Dress was just as described! Material did not feel cheap or too thin. Was light weight enough where I wasn’t hot but thick enough to not be see-through. The color was just like the picture. I’m 5’7 and the length was perfect! Would buy again!

The fabric , being rayon is lovely. I enjoy the flattering ditsy floral, the ease if a shirred bodice, as I am busty. I am also short, and intended on hemming to midi length . I did not care for the bodice neck to be so high, so I cut out the elastic, and brought down about 2 inches, then pich pleated in the center to create a sweetheart style, much more flattering . The elastic is cheap, and was one continuous piece for sleeves, and neckline, so, I added my own quality elastic, and more length, as it pulled too tight. Then I used fabric from hem to add length to the sleeves, as that shirt puff doesn't really flatter the upper arms of most of us. There was enough also to make a sash that ties under the bust to add additional shaping. Why buy a dress only to alter it? It took 4 hours, but now it looks like a $100 dress instead of a $40 one. It was worth it, but wouldn't it be nice if manufacturers would pay more attention to the details? ... show more
