I read all of the reviews before deciding to give this a shot. After reading reviews about "flimsy" and "falls apart", I decided that I would buy it this anyway and make my own adjustments. It was easy to put together. Dowels and double sided tape. Yes, it's not the most sturdy piece of "furniture" if you can even call it that, but it does exactly what I wanted it to do- conceal the litter box and keep the cat from kicking the litter out (it's better, but she still manages to get some out). I just made sure that I assembled it close to where I wanted it to end up and added cat box and litter after I had it all put together. After reading all reviews, I decided that I was going to put Contac paper down along the bottom and sides before putting the littler box in. I had to buy a smaller litter box to fit, but that's ok. It's been just over a month since my purchase and I'm happy with it and will buy another should anything happen to this one. My only complaint is the same as everybody else- wish it were a more sturdy material. ... show more

Easy to assemble. Not very sturdy. Easy to clean but do t wash it down with soap and water, because it’s made from cardboard. It advertises this in the pictures. It came with a few damaged spots since it is only made out of cardboard. It’s held together with these tiny little dowels and some type of 2 sided 3M tape but that’s only to assist you in putting it together. It’s cute and has cool colors. I wanted something enclosed without the big price. It even has a litter catch pad that is also made of cardboard. Pros Cool colors Light weight Easy to assemble Cons Made of cardboard Delivered damaged in some spots Will need to use some glue to hold it together. I don’t expect it to last forever. Eventually I will get one of the nicer ones that are more sturdy and made of wood. I’m not saying don’t get it, but I’m not saying to get it. It’s cheap, easy, and does it’s job. The moment you unwrap this cat box you know you made a mistake. The particle board is flimsy, the adhesive doesn't stick, the other materials are cheap. I should have returned it immediately. Instead, about twice a week I crawl under my dining room table and reassemble this worthless thing. I had hoped this thing would keep my puppy out of the cat box, but given it disintegrates after a big sigh, you can barely count on it to keep the cat turds from roaming about your house. In all seriousness I wish I had thrown my money away instead of spending it on this. That would have made me feel like a powerful, subversive rebel. Now I just feel more duped by capitalism than I usually do. What if the product is not the product is not the problem, though, comrade? What if the problem is the profit motive, which pushes us to create things that are cheap and sell them for high prices? Don't bother with this solution. This item is so warped we were unable to get the warped panels to sit flush with each other at the joints to be adhered with the included double sided tape. You will notice from the images that trying to use packing tape from the outside, to help encourage the panels to sit flush at the respective 90 degree joints rendered little to no help. Since this is supposed to be for a cat litter box, imagine if you will a cat kicking up litter once they are done to bury the done duty, and that goes out of the litter pan. This errant litter would have the potential go between the gaps where the double sided tape is, or become stuck to the tape, imagine the buildup over time. It wouldnt matter how many times the pan is cleaned each day, the potential for urine or feces tainted litter to either become stuck to the tape, or fly out the opening isn't a desirable feature. Even if a replacement arrived not warped, what would happen down the road if the item becomes warped due to water or excess moisture? Not a good choice for the price they are asking. ... show more

This design greatly decreases the litter tracked on my carpet! Cat use with ease. Some of the wholes didn't line up when assembled DO NOT FORCE it'll start falling apart. I wish wood glue was included to give me peace of mind. I did get silicone mats to go inside in case they had an accident and missed the side of the box. If you are looking for a quick and easy enclosure to put together than this is a good product to choose from. Instructions are clear, and honestly all you'd have to do is look at the product picture to put it together it's so simple. However, if you have an older cat (and an apparent vertical peeing one too) then this enclosure is not for you. It will not hold well if your cleanings aren't twice per day for an entire deep clean, as the engineered wood holds about as solid as a couple layers of wet cardboard. It will smell after a while since as again, it is engineered word or glorified cardboard. I also replaced the hardware with 2 of HomeDepot's "Everbilt Double Roller Catch with Spear, Zinc Plated (1-Pack)" because the magnetic one kept opening when the cats would scratch at the door from the inside. I've purchased this first from Wayfair, then found a better price on Amazon and have replaced it about 3-4 times over the years but ultimately realized the amount of money spent on the enclosure alone could have been saved if I had just went with a full wooden one, or even a hard plastic insert to save the cardboard from seemingly inevitable deterioration. Overall, it is a nice product to use for a short period of time, and it is worth it for the price listed. ... show more
