I was tearing up my feet on the textured "floor" of the pool in my shallow-water exercise class, as well as worrying about slipping in the locker-room afterwards. I was glad that I took the advice of a fellow-swimmer and ordered these "water-socks"! They come in a wide variety of fun colors and designs, with sizes to fit most feet! I wear a 10.5 women's shoe, so the 42/43 (10-11) size was perfect; and I didn't have to worry anymore about stepping on any bungees; or shoe-laces loosening in the water! I wear mine in the locker-room and shower since there is just enough texture on the bottom to give light stability on wet floors.     • Can't get foot into opening. Doesn't stretch enough.

I have very wide, neuropic feet. Along with needing wide toe box, we need wide opening across top of foot and across arch area. I can't even get these on. They are half a size bigger than I measure in anticipation of having this issue with every shoe I attempt to get. They are as advertised and I don't want to come across as bashing any company. I just wish someone would address this issue that wide footed people have. The ENTIRE shoe needs to be wider. Not just toe box. I can walk outside in them if need to, easy to clean or just throw in washing machine. Good for swimming and they are comfortable, just not made for Texas heat. Walking to get to the river my feet were burning! There wasn’t any actual damage to the shoes but keep in mind that they are thin when walking on a hot ground or parking lot.

Have used other water shoes that was purchased from small stores to larger names stores and never found any that fit like a glove. Putting these little black water shoes on was like putting melted butter on my feet. They slid on and was contoured to every shape of my foot. I had several surgeons on one foot with internal hardware, and these shoes did not hurt my foot at all. I wore these on the beach, up a waterfall, over seashells, hot pavement slippery cruise ship deck and had no issues with the soles of the shoes.
