First impression: This is the best sock I've ever worn yet. I was immediately impressed with how soft the sock felt when I pulled it on my foot. It has an almost silky feel and felt very cushy. Fit: I wear a US women's 7.5W shoe typically and this sock sizing fit me very well without feeling too small or large. The top of the sock did not bind my legs. I like to wear crew socks with the top folded over halfway down back to my ankle. They did not bind or cut into me even after hours worn in this way. The pressure was very comfortable and even. Performance: I use the sock for regular movement activity, I have not had a chance to work up a sweat in it yet. Still, I felt the sock breathed well and and stayed in place. I had it on for many hours but it did not start to irritate the tip of my foot as other socks have when kept on all day. It did not roll, bunch or pinch anywhere. I have usually bought the regular Hanes cotton socks that are available at stores like Target. I noticed the last time I got them the quality had gone way way down and I have been irritated by them from the beginning. One slight possibility of a Con to these may be that the uppers are a little thin. If you expect them to provide any protection to your legs, such as when doing yardwork, forget it. Better to wear pants or some sort of shin guards. I was worried they'd be uncomfortable due to the thinness but they are fine as noted above. I guess if they were thicker they may not be as comfortable and non-binding. If that is the case I'd rather they be as they are. One last quirky thought. I like the way Wander is spelled across the toes so I can repeatedly tell which sock matches which foot.. sometimes if you swap socks between feet they get pulled out of shape and don't feel right anymore. Maybe that's just me though. My order from this company was perfectly fine and uneventful. I will be getting more in the future. I felt the price point is good for the value I have received. I bought my first pack almost 5 years ago and they are still going strong. I work construction and they are the only socks that doesn’t stretch out and go loose on the foot halfway through the day but also provide a nice cushion for the foot. I wear a mens size 8-8.5 boot and the women’s 7-10 fit perfect for me. Threw out all the other brands and only wear Wander ... show more

These socks are the best athletic socks ever! They come packaged like a gift, individually wrapped. They are cushioned, but only just enough so they're comfortable--no so much that they won't fit in my shoes. They are seamless, with a black toe box so I know that they're on straight. My most favorite socks I have ever tried and continue to purchase are not these so my expectation where not set to high on these yet I figured I would give them a go. First off I usually only wear cotton and do realize that all socks are a mix of fabrics otherwise they would not stay up. Secondly, I despise all these new so call cooler/ wick away cotton fabric because they make me sweat more than 100% cotton does. These sock have a lot more cotton in them than what I normally get so again, I figured I would give them a go. I found these sock very comfortable yet thinner than my usual type. I am on my feet all day so thickness is important to me to keep my feet from hurting later. I have worn a pair each day and my feet still feel good even though I have been going up and down ladder along with lots of walking. The wicking feature was not as bad as what I have experienced when comparing to other such type sock I have tried meaning me feet tend to feel wet once I start sweating. My feet never felt wet yet when I did finally get to take my shoes off I would feel a rush of coolness from moisture that was now hitting the air; not that I could physically feel any wetness even when touching them. One of the best things I found with these sock is that they do not bind on my calves like my regular brand. They stay up without making a hour long impression on my calves after I have taken them off. All in all I would say these sock are a good buy and I will be purchasing more soon. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star rating is because I wish they were a bit thicker yet in all fairness most of the sock I purchase are made for runner so they usually have extra padding to them. ... show more

I love these white socks! Just like the black..beautifully presented and comfortable! On the thicker side but just what I like to help support my feet in my shoes. The fit was good and the material was wonderful. However, the tops are a bit too tight. I measured my leg where the top of the sock would meet and it's only 9.5 inches in circumference folks. I am not a large person. They were "doable" but after wearing for awhile I got the tell tale marks around my legs and just wanted to push the socks down to my ankles. I have struggles to find crew socks that are made of mostly cotton and are not too tight around the calves. I wore Hanes socks for decades (until they stopped making mostly cotton socks since the poly wears out quickly and results in holes) so I am not new to the style. I just wants socks that don't strangle my legs and are made of good cotton. ... show more
