Very classy and elevated appearance, almost like an elegant hotel room. Plenty bright for early mornings and late nights. Cool white is very clean, no hints of yellow. Be careful opening package, the sides can be sharp if not handled with care. Biggest reason for 3/5 stars is they do not last nearly as long as advertised. They are advertised to last 30,000 hours. Yet one year after purchasing (approximately 4,500 hours of use) one of my sconces no longer works and my other sconce is starting to quit as well. I ordered a replacement set because I love the look and the mounting hardware is already drilled into my wall, so it eliminates the need for more holes in the wall. Overall, $45 for a set of sconces that lasted a year is not terrible. Just don't expect them to last nearly as long as the company's advertisement states. ... show more

1 year update: one of these already died. It might be worth looking elsewhere if they are only going to last a year These are definitely smaller then you might think, but do put out a lot of light. I ordered the cool white and two of these can really light up a room. The only problem is the length of cord on them. Its shorter then I would like by a couple feet. The light is very easy to install and a cloth glove is included to help keep the acrylic clean during installation. The light isn't terribly bright but works in a short hallway where previously there was just a single 60w bulb. The build quality isn't the greatest, it's slightly crooked, not sure that shows in the photos and the metal isn't cleanly cut.
