My husband accidentally ..mmm... threw out my mini garden rake thinking it was a kids rake. Doesn't matter I told him more than once that it was MY rake. So had to find something to replace it with and this works terrific. Whether I'm doing raised beds or ground it reaches where i need it to.

I like this rake and have been using it to clean around bushes. The only drawback is the length extender is a little weak and has to be relocated from time to time especially with heavier duty jobs. However it is easy to sharing the width of the rake to quickly get behind bushes to really speed up some raking. ... show more

    • Great Concept - Poor Implemenation
The fact that you can adjust the width of the tines is great. It makes it much easier to get behind or under confined spaces. The problem is the upper extension tube. Since it has to slide into the lower tube for length adjustment, it has to be a lot thinner to fit into the lower tube. That makes the handle so skinny that it is hard to get a good grasp on it and it tends to want to turn and twist around, especially if you are wearing gloves. A better design is to just continue the thicker lower tube all the way to the top. Sure. that would mean the length is not adjustable. So what! Of course it would also mean that the box it is shipped in would have to be a bit longer. I say again - so what! ... show more

This racket is the second I bought, because it doesn’t take up so much space. You can also make it as wide as you need it, while racking. Mine does slip a little, which the other one doesn’t, but it isn’t a thumbs down deal.
