The only flaw is that they are too soft/fragile that you can end up accidentally ripping while you're fitting them into your bed if you pull too far (like I did.) I got these satin sheets because my girlfriend wouldn't shut up about all the health benefits of satin sheets and pillow cases. Apparently, they are better for sleeping and satin pillow cases are better for your hair and skin, etc. I will admit, they look pretty cool on the bed. Maybe I didn't do enough research on satin sheets. I only have so much time during the day! Anyway, sleeping in them is an adventure. They start out hot. Then they get cold. Then, because they are so slick, you start sliding all over the place in the middle of the night. Sheets and bedspreads get all tangled. By 3am, it's hard to figure out which way the sheets are supposed to go. Don't get me started on making the bed. The sheets don't grip to anything. So, trying to tuck them in around the mattress takes a magic touch. The bedspread slides all over the place. Trying to get anything to sit straight is a challenge. I love the way they look and they are fun for y'know? Bedroom games. But outside of that, I might stick with my cotton sheets and just rely on the satin pillow cases to keep the hair in check. ... show more

These sheets are super soft. I buy satin because I have trouble rolling over in bed and the satin helps with the "slide." These are not scratchy, no sticking to me, very well...satiny. They looked kind of flimsy when I opened the package, like the corners would not stay, but they do! I move around a lot at night and these have no trouble remaining on the bed (no corners flopping up at you). I will definitely be buying more! ... show more

If you run hot, don’t get these. The color was gorgeous, but I sweated like a pig all night both times I used them. The flat sheet is not silky on the underside, as some have noted. I wasn’t concerned about the aesthetic, so I flipped it over so the silky side was against my skin. I recently had hip replacement surgery and was having a difficult time turning around in bed. It took so much energy to turn over that by the time I got in a good position, I was wide awake and couldn't go back to sleep. I decided to try satin sheets to see if they would help me "slide" from one side to the other and I was not disappointed. These satin sheets really helped me to get a good nights sleep. These sheets are so lovely, nice and my favorite color red. They fit on my bed. They stay in place minus the top sheet but that's normal. They are girly like I prefer. It is like sleeping on heaven because of there pure soft silky satin material.
