I’ve had it for about a year now. Everything works as expected. The blenders decent, mixing bowl is perfect. I think the meat grinder is good as well, but my fiancé just doesn’t like that the amount of meat that’s left inside which could make a ball the size of a dime. Also you should note that if the back lid of the machine is not put back on after using the blender it will not turn on till you do. I almost returned because I thought it was broken. ... show more

I've used it only twice. Once for a pie merengue and mashed potato's. It did a fabulous job on both. In fact, the merengue was so thick, it could cut it into squares and pick them up with a fork. It did a fabulous job on the potato's too. I'm going to try the rest of the features out soon. I find anything I don't like, I'll update this. At the moment the only thing they could improve on is allowing the user to raise the the head while it's still spinning. This would make it a lot easier to spin off the food that's still on the whisk and other tools. This isn't a deal breaker. It's just a minor inconvenience. I love the 10 speeds. And I like light on the speed knob. The bowl cover is also nice. It comes in handy when mixing powdery stuff like cocoa. It comes with so many attachments and parts. The instructions say to wash everything first. Glad I have a dishwasher. The quality of this seems to be good. the only plastic parts were ones that will not need to be sturdy. ... show more

Our kitchen is full of gadget after gadget! I keep looking for ways to make homemade cooking easier to fit a busy schedule. It was our turn for Thanksgiving this year so what better than a new kitchen gadget! This one was the hero of the day! I whiped up 2 dozen cookies, cheesecake, blended some chilis (not in the smoothie blender!) And finished off the week with homemade cinnamon rolls. Pasta and sausage are on the menu next! All with one machine. I can gind the meat, blend my seasons, prep the filling, and stuff the casings. Then mix up home made pasta. All without covering the counter with appliances. The maxhine is sturdy and easy to switch between users. The only bit of distraction is it can get going at higher speeds. The little bit of noise is well worth the power and ease to blend. I am happy to make some room and replace about 4 quite large gadgets for this all in one. ... show more

I have owned this product for a few months now and used it several times. It works, I can't say it doesn't. I have not used all of its accessories... primarily the dough hook and the standard mixer wire thingy. That being said, I feel like it is actually stealing my joy of cooking... like a succubus. I do not want to use it. Why is that you ask? It makes this gawd awful 'whining' sound when in operation that catches the attention. I thought perhaps that my unit was defective, but nope, that's just how she is. I was doing some considerable dough preparation and kneading (which was why I purchased it). It does it!? Specifically, my gripe is that it's almost certainly 80%+ plastic... and when you give this large mixer a job to do... it whines and shakes and distorts every which way, it's pretty obnoxious. Every time I've used it, I was certain it was gonna break. To be fair, I did previously own a classic 'KitchenAid' mixer which is not 80%+ plastic, however the ex-wife stole it. My recent epiphany of how this device has affected my zeal to cook, and my solution to simply buy a proper 'KitchenAid mixer motivated this review. I did give it 3-star because it works... for now... you get what you pay for... and at just under $200(before tax) with all of the accessory's vs $950(before tax) for a comparable 8-quart classic KitchenAid with no accessories, I can't cry too loud about it. I will be donating this item to goodwill... or a review reader that would like to pay for shipping ; ) ... show more
