This is an incredible package for the price. Really good value for money. You get the camera (obviously!), 2 batteries (both fully charged), the lens hood, handle (which can be configured a number of ways), external microphone (which is a quality product in its own right), HDMI cable, charging cable, remote control, a soft carrying case and instructions. The unit is really light to hold, you could easily film a long event such as a wedding without getting tired. The unit takes a standard size SD card, I put a 128 gb card in which gives about 75 minutes in 4K resolution. The quality of the 4K video is very good in outdoor light, a bit grainy under indoor light. You can also take still pictures up to 56 megapixel. The unit has a WiFi function which makes transferring the video files to your computer or phone very easy. There are a vast number of ways to configure the camera including resolution, quality, sharpness, exposure etc. It isn't difficult to negotiate the menus, and the pull out screen is touch sensitive which makes it very easy to navigate. You can twist the screen any way you want to get the perfect viewing angle too. The camera has a built in microphone which is good for general use, but if you attach the external mic to the hot shoe, this produces excellent quality audio with much less noise and is well worth doing. Charging is easy, you can even use a power bank and charge the battery while its attached to the camera. As I said, both batteries came fully charged and last for ages.     • Great high quality camera
I have recently started getting into photography and wanted to have something other than my phone to take videos and/or pictures with. This camera did everything I needed, and more. It came with very easy-to-follow instructions on how to work the camera and how to assemble all of the attachments that come along with it. The videos I took came out amazing, I would have never thought I would be able to capture such great footage in 4k quality. The zoom feature worked great and kept its clear picture quality, along with the night vision feature as well. A lot of times using my phone to capture footage I would have to delete old files to create more space to be able to take new videos. Now using the camera I can just swap out the SD cards and move the files straight over to my computer. The microphone worked great as well and picked up very high-quality audio without any distortion. This is a great camera to start out with if you are interested in taking any type of videos or pictures and is priced very affordable. I have had a different camcorder in the past, but it had HD 1080P so I wanted an upgrade to get a 4K camcorder for my family. Pros: the 4K picture quality is very clear and crisp when recording. I love making close up videos of nature or people with this camcorder. I like that it has built in night vision so that you can record things even at night or in a dark place. It can also be easily used as a webcam, and that's a good additional function. It has a built in microphone that helps with sound. Having a remote control available is convenient. For me, this unit is pretty lightweight so it doesn't take a lot of strength to carry this. This is clearly an upgrade from my old camcorder so I am happy to enjoy all the new features and advanced technologies this one brings. ... show more

    • Ease of use with no huge manual to read
I like video recorders. I find it easy to use and very user-friendly. I have always disliked the idea of buying new equipment and having to read through the 100-page manual. The manual is short and clear. I like that. The manual doesn't mention the hood that goes through the camera lens, but it's easy to figure out that I don't care. SD media is easy to use. I like that too. There is no problem with my unit. This is exactly what I expected and hoped for. Simple operation, compact and easy to carry I plan to use this video recorder to make my first YouTube video. This is for my son but have taken it out to have a look at it and make sure its all working so thought I would do a review for you all as I always look at reviews before buying, especially something high value. So I was looking for a lightweight, easy to use videocamera as my son has been interested in recording for a while, whether its himself gaming or singing on his karaoke machine or doing some tricks on his skateboard and scooter for his Instagram. He's only 8 so it was really important for me to get something that will last but is also appropriate for his age right now. The camera is light and has a hand strap for added support. I like the fact that's its touchscreen which is perfectly responsive. The stabiliser is a great accessory and the mic as well will be good for the gaming videos. I was worried it would be too complicated for him at first but after trying it myself its very user friendly. I'm also glad for the weight and it not being heavy as I have a light stand for him to use with it and it fits lovely on there. Overall it has everything I was looking for and I'm very pleased.
