It's stamped "925" but NOT "925 ST." Real pure silver is soft and when warm from wear you can bend it between your fingers. This isn't sterling. Will it turn my finger green? I hope not, because it's so pretty and I really hope I can wear it a lot. But I think it probably will, eventually. That's why it has only 4 our of 5 stars. I think for the 2.99 I paid for this (and the price had gone down now!) and free shipping--I'll just be happy and enjoy it as long as I can. ... show more

Beautiful ring , it is only sterling silver plaited. I wear it full time and it lasts approximately 3 months before it looses its luster. I always have a back up ready. It looks nicer than the picture.
