I bought this for a trip as a “personal item” for the plane. It easily fit the things I wanted (iPad, chargers, reading glasses, Rx meds, snacks) plus a few things I ended up carrying for my kids. This was my 3rd Vera Bradley bag purchase. They’re attractive, well made, roomy, and loaded with pockets for keeping your things organized. The prints are beautiful, but this time I decided to get a solid color bag. Love it!

    • Not the usual Vera Bradley Quality
I'm keeping the bag because I like the pattern, price was great and bag is good enough. That said Vera bags are usually better than good. Always a top quality product. Another reviewer mentioned that the bottom doesn't lay as flat as in the older models of the Vera Tote and it is true. The price was a lot lower than on the VB website so I am wondering if this is a factory second or what? The interior seems to be polyester instead of cotton but that might be a plus. Easier to wipe up any spills inside the bag rather than have to wash the whole thing. I like the size, not too big cause I tend to overpack if given the room and yet it is roomy enough for what I actually need. Loads of interior pockets for organizing my stuff. Front zip pocket will hold keys, a lipstick or maybe a card case but not a full size wallet. Front slip pocket would hold coupons or just the little odds and ends you pick up during the day and have to stuff somewhere. The back slip pocket is the right size for holding a phone. I like the way the back slip pocket is designed. Almost a hidden pocket. I would give 5 stars except for the bottom issue. Like all Vera bags it holds a lot more than it looks like it should hold and it's lightweight and easy to carry. ... show more

So to be honest, I was a little skeptical about buying a Vera Bradley purse on Amazon (I've never done that before, I have always ordered from the site or gotten them in stores), and after some of the reviews it made me nervous. I decided to go ahead and order a few Vera things from Amazon. I always wanted to order a small Vera tote, and I decided to bite the bullet and order one. I just received it in the mail today, and all I can say is it's GORGEOUS. I am in love with it. The pattern is vibrant, and I feel like it can be used year round because of the gray in the background despite the flowers all over. The size is perfect! I've owned multiple Vera bags in my life, and this looks/feels authentic. I haven't used it yet, so if anything happens I will update this review. However, I'm very happy I got this! The ONLY con is when you get it, the cardboard on the bottom on the bag gets bent just by the way they send it. So I currently have it sitting down with two Bath & Body Works candles in it to help flatten the bottom. Other than that, I'm so excited to use this! UPDATE 2/28/21: I looked at my bag yesterday, and found that the straps had an almost tear like feature on them, and some of the string was pulled in the front. Now, I did return it and I'm ordering another one. I'm trying it one more time. If it's the same, I of course will return it, and be on the look out for this bag from an online buyer site (Poshmark, Mercari, etc) or try to outlet near me to see if they have it. I love the size of the bag and the pattern too much to give up on it. Fingers crossed the next one (arriving tomorrow) is in better condition. UPDATE 3/1/21: I got the new Vera, and it's perfect! Nothing wrong with this one. No rips or tears on the straps. So happy! Came with tags as well. ... show more

I bought this tote because the size looked perfect - not too big, not too small. I just love the two french hens on the outside as well. Even though this is a Christmas tote, I feel like it is great all year round because the hens are not too Christmasy. This tote also has so many pockets and I love that it zips closed.
