Picked up this item to put in the small wall area in our kitchen by the laundry room/side door area - fits perfectly!! Great place to store our outside shoes, hats and light jackets that we may need during the short cooler times. Very easy to put together, everything is labeled well, different screws/hardware are even individually packaged and labeled for each section unlike some put together items that just dumps them all into a bag and you have to sort them to figure out which ones are which... AWESOME! Not that there are that many different screws to be a problem. I believe it's nicely made for the price - so nice, I bought a slightly different one the day I received and put together this one to put by my front door and literally just finished putting it together. Now I need to do some rearranging with the dining room table and my paracord holder as the new one will be going where it was sitting!! LOL These items don't take long to put together and I did them by myself - I'm a 55 year old female but am decently mechanically inclined. Even someone not mechanically inclined should be able to put these together relatively easily. My one suggestion is to not snug the screws in completely until it's all together as having some wiggle room to adjust everything and line it up properly is always needed on these type things. Just makes it easier and will save yourself a bit of a possible headache as you go. Doesn't take long to go back through and tighten everything up. Also, I hate hex keys and used my own ratcheting handle with the correct bit instead. : ) ... show more

Coat rack is nice size, wood parts are finished well (probably polyurethane). Adjustable feet for leveling; great if your floor is uneven. Very EZ to assemble. Has safety straps if you need to anchor it to the wall. Mine had a bit of rust on two parts; the paint is a flat black, not baked enamel. I just wiped it off. The odd thing that’s may be a mix up, the two top vertical curved tube parts were not right and left. I received two right side tubes. The only issue is that the tubes have an indent where the screws go, so that the head of the screw is recessed into the tube. With a right tube on left side, the screws on that side aren’t recessed into the tube, and the two recessed areas can be seen on the right side of the tube where the wood meets the tube. Not a major issue. The 9 metal hooks that sit on the wood slide & are removable. What I don’t like is the metal hook has no rubber or plastic on the edge of the hooks; the metal corners could be rough on hung clothes. I’m going to squirt a dab of silicone caulk on edges of those hooks to protect my coats & hoodies. Overall, it’s a good sturdy & stylish & functional & useful piece of stuff for my hallway. Relatively easy to assemble (had an issue with the tall poles not fitting in the holes at first; had to keep spinning them until I guess they ground some of the paint off before it popped in). Fits perfectly where I needed it to. Looks great and holds what I need it to. If I had a single nit-picky complaint? It’s a shape and size that they don’t really make a good rubber mat for to put under the shoe rack, so if your shoes are wet and you put them up, it’ll just drip on the floor. Still trying to find something that will fit. All in all: great value for the cost and I really like it. ... show more

Recently purchased this unit because needed one at the front door. I read a review about it on another site and followed the link. Decided it would work for my space and ordered one. Upon arrival, the box was damaged but I didn't think it was a big issue. Once I opened the box I found the 2 upper boards broken in half. Theses are the boards that hold the S clips and give support to the upper section. Took pictures and finished the assembly. Contacted customer service, sent them pictures of the damaged parts so they could assess the damages. They contacted me in a short time later to see if I would accept the pieces in another color as they were out of the natural would color. I opted for the black replacement pieces but they were close to the original color so you'd never know. Very happy with the product and the company. ... show more

Pretty decent quality for the price paid. It’s smaller than I expected, but fits very nicely in small entry way. Very easy to assemble, I did it at 4am, very tired, while drinking; So if that’s not a testament to its easiness then I don’t know what is. I really like how the hooks can slide and be moved around, it makes hanging hats or other things easier. They do have holes if you want to fasten them in place, but screws didn’t come with mine. The two shelves on the bottom are decently sized, they hold about 6 pairs of my shoes (size 13 mens). I knocked it down a peg in sturdiness only for the reason that it’s not exactly a premium product. It might be unfair, but only time will tell. That being said, it’s still a great hall tree for the time being, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cost effective way of hanging items that need to be grabbed on the way out the door. ... show more
