Utz products are reliable. Once you've had a chip, you know what to expect and their quality control is good. Where problems arise is when they are stored in the heat, thrown around, or eaten after their best by date. If you happen to come upon a vendor in your local retail store, you'll notice that potato chips are turned over very quickly on the shelves. It's not unusual to see them leave with bags of expired products that have been replaced by fresher products. Vending machine folks restock the machines with bags just like those in this Utz Jumbo Snack Variety Pack of 60 Individual Snack Bags sold by Amazon. This is not a good option to select if you intend to hold on to the contents for months because they simply will taste nasty awhile after their best by date. Typically, in boxes like this one, the popcorn and pretzels have a best by date that's a couple weeks later than the potato chips, so if they are just for you at home, you could focus on the potato chips first and save the freshest for last. Any way you consume them, these are salty snacks, some are saltier than others and some are crisper, but they are pretty consistent. I wouldn't want to survive on these snacks alone for my daily nutritional requirements, but as a little crunch accompanying a simple healthy lunch or enjoying a single bag with a beer isn't terrible. In the old days when we gathered together in the same room, perhaps even at the same table, we sometimes opened a bag or two of each, combined them in a big bowl, then enjoyed them with a cocktail. I love this potato chip brand. When I bought this variety mix it was cheaper here than it was on the Brand's website. My favorite is their salt and vinegar chips. All of the chips arrived nice and fresh and fast. Be sure to look on the description when you order the chips here because I noticed some of the descriptions say you may have to wait several months before you get them. Box was perfectly packed, all product was lined nicely inside. Then I realized as I was taking them out that all of the potato chips had expired. The pretzels and popcorn expire in April and the cheese puffs in May. I messaged Amazon and they said they’d refund me. That being said, I said it was only fair to accept a 50% refund since some were still fresh. (Fair is fair!) Then later in the evening as I was organizing them in bins, I realized that 42 of the 60 bags were actually expired potato chips. My mistake assuming each product had the same amount of bags. Potato chips have 12 bags of each flavor, except the salt and vinegar which have 6, and the other three products also have 6 bags each. ... show more

I come from the east coast where we always got Utz chips, pretzels and my favorite ....cheese curls. Everything was fresh and a good variety. However in my opinion, not enough cheese curls.😁 It did however motivate me to search for just cheese curls by Utz. And I found them.. So its a win, win. Nice snacking or lunch size bags. Utz chips and snacks are fresh and delicious. There's so many flavors Utz offers to pick from and not like typical chip flavors. I never have like salt and vinegar chips, but Utz is not overwhelmingly vinegar tasting. I actually like their Salt and Vinegar chips. All chips have perfect flavor.

    • Unbelievable price for you
This came up on my homepage and I was suspicious that it could be as good as it seemed basically the packages are about $.25 apiece. So I did order it and when I came in I was surprised if that was such a large box then I was expecting. I keep this in the corner of my office and I bribe people who come to fix my computer or whatever. I do have a low vision problem and I get stuck in several computer programs and just need someone to help for a split second. Nothing Is really required for me to give them but it always makes them happy. So it’s a win-win my computer is fixed and they get a nice snack Follow up I just bought my fourth box when I find best is just to take a razor and put our 8“ x 8“ hole in the top of the box and just use it as a grab bag this is excellent they’re always so fresh by far the best deal on here look no further ... show more
