I've been slacking. Been using those plastic tube hangers for much too long and just forgot how nice it is to have a decent hanger for the good clothes in my closet. So many reasons I love these hangers. First of all, they keep my tailored clothes in much better shape than cheap hangers do. My closet looks more put together. These hangers don't get tangled with other hangers. Sturdier. I love them! I originally bought these hangers because I make a product and usually sell at Farmer's Markets on weekends. I wanted my product to look extra nice and professionally displayed - which is originally why I bought these hangers - to use for marketing purposes.... but it's been years since I've used wooden hangers. In fact (this is showing my age) many years ago, when shopping at nicer stores, they would always hang your better clothes that you bought on a wooden hanger to take home.... instead of rolling your items up and stuffing in a bag. Over they years, the hangers got cheezier. And stores started selling plastic tube hangers. ~~~ I'm happy having these back in my closet. I’ve got a semi-public coat rack out of necessity, and I’m amazed at how quickly these coat hangers disperse through the building. Fortunately these are both good-looking and inexpensive. I’ve got no idea how durable they are because I’m sure I’ve never had one for more than a year. There are many nearly identical hangers like this at similar prices. These particular ones are straight (vs. curved) and are somewhere in the middle of the light vs dark finishes I’ve come across. The hanger spins. It doesn’t screw in to the frame, it’s molded in place (the hanger body isn’t exactly wood, it seems to be a skinned, micro-cell, wood imitating foam). It’s a good dupe for wood though to the point that, without breaking one, you’d never know. ... show more

Loved these wooden hangers so much that I ordered more to give as a gift… the recipient loves them, too. Once you have sturdy, nice-looking hangers, you’ll replace all your plastic or wire ones. Top reasons I like these wooden hangers: 1. Say goodbye to hanger bumps on clothing! The design helps me hang clothing properly and stay on the hanger. Keeps clothing in better shape. 2. Durable enough to work well with heavy coats. I also use them in our entranceway closet. (Bonus: Nice that they look great when company arrives.) 3. Drum roll please…. They look fantastic! It’s a little luxury to have matching, nice-looking, and quality hangers. It’s the little things that can bring joy! The biggest con is that my husband helps himself to “my” hangers. Definitely order the larger quantity. The other con is that you’ll want to get rid of your old hangers. Thrift stores usually take them. The grey hangers are beautiful! They are a pack of 10 and for $11 is feasible. For the most part, the hangers feel smooth with the exception of the side holes for straps or dresses and the ones under the hooks, they are rough. They can be easily be fixed with a gentle sanding. I’m not going to be too critical on those areas. They look great on my closet. It gives my closet a nice sophisticated look at an affordable price. Way better than plastic ones.
