    • decent quality--but no off switch
For some reason the mic on my Surface Pro has stopped working well. It is too soft and performs erratically. I tried to adjust it in Settings, but I didn't succeed. Nothing is more frustrating than making a presentation only to discover that the listeners can't hear you. This mic solved the problem. You set it on the included stand, plug it in, and the computer automatically finds it. It couldn't be easier. The sound is more consistent and better than my tablet. The mic has a dial that allows you to adjust the volume. It has another dial to adjust bass and treble. There is also a place for head phones, but I haven't used that yet. Finally, there is a button that allows you to mute the mic. Normally, this button is green, but when you press it, it turns red and the color within the mic changes to purple. It's neat that there is this color in the mic, but it serves no real functional purpose. I have two issues with this mic. First, it's relatively big and, especially with its stand, takes up space on my desk. Second, the mic has no off switch. You can mute it, but it's still lit and drawing power from my computer's battery. ... show more

    • Good audio quality, but loses two stars for silly reasons
First the good: the audio quality. I've been using mics in cellphones, headsets, and laptops for so long that I'd almost forgotten what a good microphone could sound like. I use this with OBS to prepare YouTube videos, and the clarity and range of the mic is excellent. This makes it particularly frustrating for me to have to knock off two stars for silly reasons. First, the color - purple when live, red when muted. OK, that's cute, but can we disable this, because it's just distracting? Apparently not. And then, when I've finished with OBS and it's time to shut down my laptop,, can we have an on/off button? Apparently not, because even when my laptop is sleeping, the microphone is still drawing power and glowing purple (or red). The only way to turn it off is to unplug it. Silly. ... show more

So im going to start talking a few time with a friend online and a love it. It has a few nice details like if you talk the lights will go off so you can know that is receiving your voice. Or if you want the light just turn it off. Plus you add more bass to the mic if you want

Really solid build quality. Its a small mic, but doesn't feel cheap in any way.I have nothing more to say, it’s an absolute bargain, and impossible to say no to.I would definitely recommend it!
