I got this as an experiment to see if I could get a data connection on my atoto head unit that would not work with AT&T, my normal carrier. After some prodding, it worked. My stereo showed 4g connection to t-mobile and I could use the stereo as a wifi hotspot. It didn't work until I bought a plan on the talksim site. Not sure why. I thought it came with a plan. Maybe I'm just impatient. I kept getting "Edge" network instead of 4G on the device. Then, I spent $10 on one of the plans on the site and it magically started working. It's a low overhead cellular reseller. The card says "4G LET" (not LTE), the instructions are bad english, and the site is lackluster at best. fraudulent scheme, firstly it is not a prepaid card and when you activate it you need to choose and pay for a plan, secondly they will stably try to write off your card for this plan every month (it is not clear how to cancel it, apparently only through the bank) do not try to save on this, it is junk, Amazon, in my opinion, is deeply drunk with what they sell through it, just to get their commission, deception is already at every step, I am shocked. ***that is, what is in the description and what is in the photo (the presence of a prepaid plan) is pure deception! ... show more

To be honest, I only got this because it was free as part of the Vine reviewer program. I threw it in a used Surface Go 2 that I had paid an extra $10 for to have LTE, without much expectation that I would actually use the 4g feature or find it useful. But the Surface Go 2 is so tiny I ended up taking it everywhere, including on a couple of trips the last few months, and surprisingly, I instantly became addicted to the convenience of always connected data. No more putting up with slow airport wifi just because it's free, or spending 15 minutes trying to induce the hotel's wifi login browser redirect to trigger. Another thing I discovered once I gave it a shot is that they don't just have plans where your data expires every month; there are 6-mo and 12-mo term plans available (so instead of 1gb for 1mo, get 12gb for 12mo, and at a discount, to boot!). For my use case, where I might use it a lot while traveling for a month or two here or there, but then not use it for 6 months, that's super handy. I activated this on my unlocked Galaxy S22 Ultra (T-Mobile variant) and following the included instructions, the process was pretty straightforward. Android phone menu layouts vary, but they’re generally similar. Once set up, AT&T appeared as the service provider on the status bar with 4G LTE service. Where I live, the connection speed was about 107 Mbps down and 25 Mbps up. Their email support is also very responsive. Overall, I’m happy with this service. ... show more
