I’ve been using mine for over a month. Here are my thoughts and what you need to know: Likes 👍👍👍 - Magnetic is for Magic! Click and your iPhone 📱is suspended in midair! So satisfying 🤩 - Fast Charging: At 7.5 watts it’s plenty fast for most people 👍 - Design: It looks a lot better in person. I’ve shared some closeups to help you out 📸😉 - Two in One: A neat way to recharge your iPhone and AirPods at the same time 👍👍 - LED: Light indicators are just the right brightness! If you’re anything like me, the slightest light could disturb your sleep. This one doesn’t! Big win 🙌🙌 - Value: At $40, this is a really good value for the money 👍 - Five Foot Long 😜 It comes with a generous 5 footer cable so you can snake it around your desk/nightstand with ease 👍👍👍 Dislikes 👎👎👎 No deal breakers but you should know before you buy: - The magnet in the bottom charging tray for your AirPod is weak! It still works as advertised but it’s not as reassuring as the top portion. Others have pointed this out as well. - No Wall Adaptor: For this product to work right, you will need to pair it with your own 20 watts wall adaptor. (20 Watts is the minimum specification set by Apple for fast charging for iPhone 12 series or newer. FYI 🤓). Part of me thinks Anker should’ve included one in the box. I am so glad I did. 2️⃣ I received an automated message to confirm they got my inquiry. The next day, I got an email from a rep asking some info (serial number, order number and date, etc) plus a photo of the item. I emailed that info back and to my delight, they honored my request and sent me a Brand New replacement which arrived in 3 days! 3️⃣ I'm writing this addendum to make a point: lots of companies make good products. Anker not only makes Excellent Products but it stands behind its products and take care of its customers. Exemplary Customer Service 🥇🙏😊 Footnotes ✍️✍️✍️ - Magnetic doesn’t equal MagSafe! Let me explain 🧐 Is it wireless? Yes. Is it Magnetic? Yes. The magnetic part serves to ensure your device is perfectly aligned for optimal wireless charging, every time. MagSafe certification is offered by Apple for a fee, which requires an NFC chip that talks directly to your compatible iPhone, gives you a neat charging animation and more importantly, allows for maximum charging speed. The 15 watts charging speed is Exclusive to Apple’s own MagSafe. Other companies are restricted to 7.5-10 watts. So, did Anker do the right thing by skipping the MagSafe certification to keep the cost down and pass on the savings to you? Yes, I believe they did 🤔 ... show more
