  • Easy once you read the directions
Item Package Quantity: 2 Color: ‎Purple/Yellow/Red/Orange/Green/DIP Switch
This worked great for my modern rolling code Chamberlain garage door, and for my gate which has an old dip-switch style. It took a minute for me to figure out exactly what to do, but the instructions were easy to read, and had a convenient chart for what type of door opener you have. For anyone struggling to figure out, here’s what I did: (1) set dip switches (if applicable) to match my door. You might need to reverse the switch direction if this doesn’t work (2) press the tiny program button inside the battery cover until the light turns solid (3) press the big button you want to program between 1 and 15 times depending on your brand of opener. Be sure to wait for the light to stop flashing between presses (4) hit the tiny program button again (5) if you have a newer door and skipped the dip switches in my first step, then hit the learn button on your door opener, then hold the big remote button you just programmed until your opener flashes or activates It’s easy peasy once you figure it out, just takes a couple minutes to go through all the steps. Also, if you’re not entirely sure what type of opener you have, look at one of your old remotes - it will have the frequency used which you can check in the table in the manual, or at least a model number you can google to find the frequency of your remote. ... show more

  • Love the two-doors-in-one feature
Item Package Quantity: 2 Color: ‎Purple/Yellow/Red/Orange/Green/DIP Switch
Once I figured out what “press and release this button certain times continuously corresponding your brand” meant, these controls were a breeze to set up. I really like being able to carry one control that can open both doors. It received 4 stars instead of 5 for the poorly translated instructions and for the fact that it only comes with a clip. I really wanted something I could hook to a strap. ... show more

  • THIS DOES WORK FOR MY OLD ST300 STANLEY GARAGE!
Item Package Quantity: 1 Color: ‎Purple/Yellow/Red/Orange/Green/DIP Switch
Thank God for Google & YouTube!! I bought my house and the garage didn’t have a remote so I thought all was lost. I googled it and found a video of a woman showing how she set up hers. I asked people on Amazon which universal remote was compatible with my Stanley garage & sure enough found this one (after a quite a few no’s). Reading is also fundamental because I read the manual first and there’s a trick you have to do for Stanley garages. All I can say is thank you thank you thank you! Now I can use my garage happily! ... show more

  • They work short range
Item Package Quantity: 2 Color: Remote (Purple/Yellow/Red/Orange/Green)
So, I recently got my hands on these generic LiftMaster garage door openers, and I've got some thoughts. The Good Stuff: More the Merrier: I love that you can program up to four different doors or gates on one remote. Talk about convenience! No more fumbling around with multiple remotes. Pretty Simple Setup: Setting it up wasn't rocket science. Most folks should find it easy to get going. The Not-So-Good Stuff: One Button, Two Doors? Nope!: Here's a weird quirk – I tried to get one button to work for two of my garage doors at the same time. No dice. Kinda bummed about that. Playing Hard to Get: The range on this thing? Meh. With my old remote, I could be a good distance away and still open my garage. With this one, I feel like I practically need to be on my driveway. Final Thoughts: It's a decent remote with some cool features, but that range issue might be a deal-breaker for some. If you're thinking about grabbing one, just keep that in mind. Safe driving! 🚗💨 ... show more

  • It works!

Took a few times to get the programing to take, hence 4 stars. But after several attempts it does do the job.

  • Here is how I programed them.
Item Package Quantity: 2 Color: ‎Purple/Yellow/Red/Orange/Green/DIP Switch
These work great. I highly recommend them. They work on my old garage door opener as well as the new one next to it. I’m embarrassed to say how many different interpretations of the instructions I tried before I guessed correctly how to program them. The term “learn-button” refers to the program or learn-button on the door operating motor. The term “program-button” refers to button 5 on the remote-control and is next to the row of DIP switches. Identify the doors to be operated as door I and II. While programing the remote-control for door I, use button I. While programing the remote-control for door II, use button II. Repeating the setup procedure for each door will allow a single remote-control to operate one or two different types of doors. For each door opener, identify its brand and the type of learn-button, located on the motor. Use the table in step 3 of the manufacturer's User Manual to determine the number of times that you will need to press the remote-control button I or II when programming the remote-control. Remove the remote-control battery cover and locate the program-button (button 5). Then do these steps within one minute to program the remote: 1. Press and hold the program-button on the remote-control until the blue light on the remote-control turns on, then release the program-button. 2. On the remote press the I or II button (corresponding to the door you are programming) the number of times indicated in the table in step 3 of the manufacturer's User Manual. Allow the blue light to flicker after each press of the button before pressing again. 3. Press the program-button on the remote to store the setting in the remote. The blue light will extinguish. 4. Press the motor learn-button. It will light up. 5. Press the I or I button (corresponding to the door you are programming) one last time. The light on the motor learn-button will extinguish. Example 1: 1. Press and hold the program-button on the remote until the blue light comes on. 2. Since the motor is a Chamberlain and has a yellow learn-button, press the I button on the remote 8 times, allowing the blue light to flicker after each press. 3. Press the program-button on the remote to store the setting in the remote. The blue light will extinguish. 4. Press the motor learn-button. It will light up. 5. Press the I button on the remote. The motor learn-button will extinguish. 6. Test the remote control. Example 2: 1. Press and hold the program-button on the remote until the blue light comes on. 2. Since the motor is a Chamberlain and has a purple learn-button, press the II button on the remote 3 times, allowing the blue light to flicker after each press. 3. Press the program-button on the remote to store the setting in the remote. The blue light will extinguish. 4. Press the motor learn-button. It will light up. 5. Press the II button on the remote. The motor learn-button will extinguish. 6. Test the remote control. ... show more

  • Must enter the code to close the garage door
Item Package Quantity: 1 Color: ‎Garage Door Keypad(Flip Cover Type)
The remote works well and is easy to program. The range is good, and transmits through a metal insulated door. Only issue is that this particular model requires the code to be input to both open and close the garage door. Sometimes it's nice to just hit the button and have the door close.
