I'm only 25 and riddled with health problems. This purchase was a game changed. This chair glides! It's easy to put together, easy to take apart, it's not too heavy, and it's very sturdy. It goes over small bumps, rocks, sticks, and cracks so easily. I can even push myself over my watering hose when it gets left on my sidewalk! One push keeps me rolling much longer than in other chairs in a similar price range. In my old chair going over the tactile paving on public sidewalks was actually painful in my arthritic joints... in this chair I fell almost nothing! It is lighter than a standard wheelchair. Wheels detach and reattach easily. Has a seat belt. Goes easy through grass and dirt road but more difficult and challenging on mid grad gravel. The better option is the heavy duty upgraded. Things to consider. It will be higher than other wheelchairs so it may affect transfers from certain surfaces getting back to the wheelchair.
