Assembly is straightforward---use a couch for support and make sure everything lines up to the instructional sheet! This would be an easy project to reupholster (say, with a rustic linen tablecloth) for a fresh look down the road, since the ivory teddy is likely to wear out or stain over time. The higher back and extended arms made this chair more appealing than others with a similar style. The seller was super responsive when a delivery issue came up! This is a very nice rocker. It was relatively easy to put together. It is sturdy and offers great softness. We bought this for our daughter in law to use when she's nursing our new granddaughter. This chair is streamlined so it's not super bulky and fits nice in a smaller bedroom.

Do not buy. Not only did the brackets not line up with seat for installation but the securing of back seat to bottom is pretty weak. We had to pay for shipping and now seller is also asking for us to pay shipping this completely unusable chair back to receive refund.
