  • GREAT PRODUCT!
I bought this for a storage closet for my 12-year old daughter and I couldn't be more pleased. It is a GREAT value for the cost, you cannot beat it. There is plenty of storage space to organize small - medium items or clothes, as well as ample space for hanging clothes. This absolutely helped to get my daughters room neater and more organized with less things lying around. The closet is very sturdy once put together completely. WARNING: I will advise to be careful and not apply to much pressure/ muscle when putting the item together. The connecting bars can bend on you if you apply too much pressure. Don't worry though, once it is all put together it is very strong and sturdy. It did take about an hour to put it all together, but that would be the only negative I would give. Plus it is worth the time once complete. Anyone saying the item is cheap or weak did not assemble it properly. I also appreciate the fact that the whole thing can zip up providing privacy and just a neater look. All in all 5 stars for total performance and cost value. ... show more

  • Not bad, but consider a few things before buying
There are a lot of parts to this portable closet and it took a decent amount of time to put together. The instructions are not the worst I've seen, but could have been better for sure. A lot of people have complained about the sturdiness and when I was putting it together, I was concerned about it. Now that I have clothes in it, it seems to be holding up well. If it collapses, I'll update the review. Here are some tips: 1. Wear gloves that have some type of padding. The connecting rods and plastic connectors don't go in easy and you need to really push them in. Avoid using too much force as the rods bend if you even look at them funny. I bent two and had to unbend one otherwise I would have been one short. There was an extra one in the box. 2. Be very careful when pushing the rods into the plastic connectors, especially when you get to the second layer of this thing. Too little and it's going to be crooked. Too much and the rods bend and/or you injure yourself. The inside of my hand is bruised and I accidentally punched myself in the chest at some point. 3. As you get to the top, be really careful not to push down too much or the bottom rods will move. Also, your hand could slip and you'll put a rod in your eye. 4. Think really hard before you ask someone to help you put this together or have anyone else in the house with you while doing so. I could see conflicts occur because this product is so frustrating. For $40, it's OK. I'll see how this holds up. ... show more

  • Really good closet for the price...
Alright y’all...this took me right at an hour to assemble. The instructions for this were horrible, all it showed was the picture of the product stage by stage so you really had to get up close to figure out which joints were to be used where. My shoulders are literally burning from putting this thing together. It was definitely a little stiff trying to get the joints connected to the bars and lord forbid of you put the joint on wrong. 🤦🏻♀️ As far as the “easiness” of putting it together it is fairly easy but you definitely have to look at the picture and I actually had to look at the photos on amazon. I like the covering for this except for the fact it has the cheapest possible material to secure it to the closet itself. I felt it could have used sturdier feet for the closet but I only intend to use this for towels, sheets, and blankets so I suppose it will be fine. I don’t know exactly how much weight this will hold or how sturdy it is after weight is applied so we will have to wait and see on that one. The shelves themselves are literally like a piece of paper so I’m a little nervous to put anything of real weight to it like jeans stacked up on them. I did notice (this may be the most important part of assembly) that you had the push the rods all the way into the the joints. You think they are on but it’s barely in there so when you assemble this make sure you look at it and the rods will actually touch each other inside your joint. I know I read of a couple people who said it was really flexible and it fell over in them of those rods aren’t fully inside the joints then I can guess that any kind of real weight would definitely make this fall over. When all is said and done this is a pretty good closet for the price I paid. I like it, and it has lots of room. I was extremely concerned when the box arrived and it was soooo small for what I was expecting, but overall it was a good choice, especially for the price. ... show more

  • Not Worth Your Time
Let me start off by saying that I completely acknowledge that this wardrobe organizer is not an industrial strength item. I certainly wasn't expecting to pay $40 for a life-time worthy product. Having said that, I'm not actually sure what someone can store on this item because it is very cheaply made and collapses too easy (yes, mine collapsed several times). The "engineering" on this item is poorly executed, parts don't match as certain connectors are missing (they were not provided). I even purchased another to ensure I didn't get a faulty box, nope, they are both very poorly constructed as I encountered the same issue. I am not sure who wrote the "blueprints" but I wouldn't be surprised if they were under the age of 12. Please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this item!!!!! This item is not sturdy, can barely hold 5 pounds worth of "clothing," and is very poorly constructed. Just SAY NO!!!! ... show more

  • Cheap!
This portable wardrobe is cheap. I regret not returning as soon as I opened it and saw how cheaply made the pieces were. I wanted an inexpensive wardrobe to have in the basement to store extra clothing, towels, blankets, pillows and shoes. My daughter and I began building it and thought it would become more sturdy once the 97 separate pieces of cheap metal were snapped into place. I almost cried after 30 pieces in and realized this thing is junk. We ripped the last piece of “fabric” while constructing and the thought of de-constructing it was more painful than loosing out the 45$. I’ve had grocery bags made from this non-woven fabric hold up and last long than this cheap thing. We’ll use it for a few months or until it collapses. Don’t waste your money on this one. I can’t believe this product had a 4 star rating from over 2K people. Junk!! ... show more
