This was a snap to set up once I downloaded their app, and the app was user friendly, but when it came time to integrate this into my Google Home system, I got stuck. I may have to call their tech support to help walk me through this, but as of right now I'm stuck just using the app and I really wanted to be able to use voice control through Google to turn this on and off. Maybe it's something small and silly that I overlooked, but if so perhaps they don't make it clear enough on how to handle this integration. ... show more

I needed a way to turn off my 3D printer if things do go awry and I’m not home. For me, this plug fits the bill. It comes in a 2-pack and is simple to set-up using the included instruction booklet and scanning the QR code to download the app. It took me less than 5 minutes to set one up, and it works perfectly. Make sure your network includes broadcasting in 2.4 GHz, though. If you have 5 GHz only, these won’t work. It has 3 modes: Smart (can use either the app or the on-off pushbutton), Child (only use the app), or Standalone (only use the on/off button). Another nice feature of these plugs is they act as a WiFi extender, so you can get a stronger WiFi signal in the area that you use these. Connecting with Alexa and Google Home is also possible (though I did not try this yet). If you have more than one, you can set them up individually, or as a group. There is also a customer support number which is a nice backup to have in case you run into any problems. Tried multiple times to get this setup and it will not connect to my WiFi since I have more than 20 wireless devices connected. Also not sure why this only supports 2.4GHz WiFi with most newer WiFi devices supporting 5GHz.

A couple of great smart plugs! Was happy to find a 2 pack of them. Instructions were clear, and setup was super simple. Just installed the App on my phone and it immediately recognized the two smart plugs (I plugged them both in at the same time) and set them up in just a couple of minutes. Instructions were clear on how to get it setup if I ever needed to enter setup mode again, but just plugging them in they immediately went into pairing mode and it was super easy to get them setup. An option in the app to search for your SSID so all you had to do was type the password. Working great since with no loss of connectivity or need to re-setup. Very pleased! ... show more
