If you're looking for a small, portable speaker, this one is nice. Easy to use with a single button to pair with your device. First thing you notice is that it is heavy for its size. If you are looking for a light and portable speaker, this is not lightweight. But it feels solid and well built for other uses. The sound is passable. For listening to podcasts, the voices have good bottom end, but when listening to music, it sounds a little thin with little middle range. The neoprene cover is also well made and comes with the carabiner for hanging it. It muffles the sound just barely, but that would be expected with neoprene. I don't use it often, I leave it on the counter in the bathroom while I shower and it works well for that. Or while outside working or relaxing in the yard it is fine as well. It is twice as loud as my cell phone, so I can easily hear over the shower. I have not tried to use it at a large party or gathering but it is not marketed for that. I was not expecting high quality sound from such a small Bluetooth speaker. I was surprised, especially at the bass coming from it. I listen to music from my phone at my desk. Sitting it on a wood desk actually improves the sound. Volume has not been an issue. It has a 700 mAh rechargeable (USB-C) battery. I have not managed to run the battery down during hours-long listening sessions. I usually recharge after using each time. There is no way to determine the exact battery level, during use or during recharge, although there is a LED charge indicator on the on/off button. It does not have an independent volume control. Volume is controlled from your phone. I really like this little speaker. It sounds great. It's small and easy to pack/carry. It has a nice heavy high-quality feel and is attractive. It's easy to use with only a single button for pairing and on/off. It pairs easily with my phone. I don't know at what maximum distance it can be used because my phone and the speaker are usually only a few feet apart. ... show more

Updated: I figured out the volume issue was my failing phone, not the speaker. The volume is good for everyday use...not sure it would loud enough for a small gathering but for me it works really well. NOTE to reviewer with the issue with power not shutting down completely - once I turned the unit off, I turned my Bluetooth off also. When I turned Bluetooth on it only listed the unit (I'd saved it) but didn't activate the speaker! May be my wacky phone but you may want to give that a try. The power % on the unit was exactly as it was when I turned it off (i turned Bluetooth back on & left it for quite awhile to see if the speaker would activate...maybe give that a try. This unit arrived on time, well packaged. It looks really nice, nice secure travel case that you can leave the unit in & still use it. Only problem I have is the volume is WAY to low. I bought it to hear my calls, VM, & social media easier. It is louder than my old (& dying) pixel4a but not by a lot. ... show more

I love the sound that comes out of this speaker it's loud it's crisp and clear it's really insanely good. This is the second one I've bought. Sadly it did not last through the year. I got this in January of 24 and it died at the end of October 24 really bummed. I used it every day.

As the title... And nobody mentions it but it does work while charging and includes a cord which is extremely awesome if you're worried about the battery life. Was skeptical for a long time had the sound core and decided to give this a try for watching at night on my s24 ultra. It works beyond expectation and I actually have to turn the volume lower to get the same results and more clarity actually then the other speakers in this caliber or range especially this micro even sounds good in the case. There's good mid quality and good love quality but don't expect it to shake a house, but it will fill a room or wake someone up on the other side of the house maxed out. Simple to turn on, affordable, works at low volumes and at max volume without strange distortion. If you get it for less than $26 it's worth it especially if it's less than 20! ... show more
