The toy is very cute. When my cat loves something: like toy bananas, and now this pencil toy, he plays with them and when he's done he'll put his paws on it and then lays his head down on it like he's keeping anyone from touching it. Idk..the mind of cats! Lol!

My cats loved this, but one of them has pica and this toy is about to die in less than a few days, so I don't recommend it to parents of cats with pica, but other cats will most likely be fine.

My cat isn't very obsessed with it. In fact he had the opposite reaction to what I expected, he spends less time kicking it and more time cuddling it. The way your cat reacts to this toy really depends on the cat though. Most of the time mine won't show interest but some days he'll suddenly love it. Its very durable however and I recommend it for destructive cats. Mine loves the crinkly sound over bell jingles in most toys. Worth it for the value. You can always put it away when you aren't playing with the cat if you want to keep their interest in it. ... show more
