I’ve filled this backpack with ice for a camping trip and it didn’t leak all weekend. By the end of the trip the bag was holding mostly cold water with no problems. The second storage pouch is a great shape and surprisingly spacious. Couldn’t recommend this backpack more. I originally bought my partner black one, but I had to have one too after I used it a couple times. Unfortunately his has since fallen apart, but I believe that’s user error. So this is my second one. The first I bought in September 2020. Use it every day for work. So I figured I had worn out the other one. This is my favorite way to bring lunch to work. And the front is basically my Man Purse ha ha. I keep glasses, cords. And other extra stuff for when I need at work or whatever. It keeps stuff nice and cold with just one IcePack. It’s very light when empty and very comfortable to carry. Water bottles fit great and don’t fall out easily I had the black with red the first one. So I changed it up to Blue the second one. My husband is a journeyman bricklayer and he uses this as a lunch bag and cooler for his beverages. He loves it!! He has used different types over the past 20 years but prefers this backpack style the most. He said it is more convenient to carry. It keeps everything cold and is quite spacious. It also has nice side pockets and a smaller front pocket along with the large main pocket. Would highly recommend for anyone on the go. Bought this to take to Disneyland to keep waters, "lunchables", string cheese and Uncrustables cold. We would freeze a couple of the water bottles and use them as ice packs along with a couple of flat ice packs. The food would stay cold and the backpack was easy to carry around and stow on rides like any regular backpack. This helped us keep food costs down for a family of 5 spending 2 days at the park. Nice lunch bad had for about a year and it’s keeps food cold and has plenty of storage. I do construction and go through lunch bag like crazy this one lasted the longest just started to rip on the shoulder strap would definitely buy again.

This is the best purchase I have made on Amazon. I use one for work,one for the beach. I bought my son one for college and he uses it to pack cold food to take with him. I only use ice packs in them. I have purchased five of these all for gifts. My original one still holding up well.
