Super easy to set up, this steam sauna can be up and running out of the box in 20 minutes. The instructions are simple to follow, and no tools are required. I found a spot in my garage to set it up, and gave it a try. It did take a bit longer than the stated 8 minutes to get to temperature, but it was easily ready in 15 minutes. I was impressed how thoroughly the steam creates heat throughout the chamber. For my first sit, I started at the recommended level 5 (out of 9) for 12 minutes. I am 6'2" and the chamber is not tall enough for me to stand, so I placed a bucket to sit on and brought a towel in. Within 5 minutes I was fully drenched in sweat, and felt 12 minutes was a good total amount of time for me. I plan to get a plastic stool to use to be a bit more comfortable. The steam box inside the chamber should probably be as centered as possible, because it seemed to be heating me unevenly on the side it was on. I like the idea of being able to use herbs or essential oils to enhance the experience. Overall, I am very pleased with the sauna. Until I saw this I had no idea you could find a steam sauna that is this portable, lightweight, and affordable. It went together fairly easily and is straightforward to operate. Simply fill with water and turn it on. The remote lets you set both the time and the power level (0-9). You can also manually set these using the buttons on the steam unit. I can run it full power for over 45 minutes without it running out of water. Highly recommend. ... show more
