This royal package includes one velvet red robe, a bejeweled kings crown, and gold plastic scepter. Cape is one size fits most adults and some teens. Cape measures 47 inches in height and is a soft velvet material. King crown is decorated with magnificent colorful jewels. It is lightweight, comfortable, and one size fits most. Scepter is assembled from 4 small pieces and measures approximately 67 inches long. Scepter is adjustable and can be pulled apart to be made shorter. Surprised my boss who is a retiring physician and crowned him king for a day. He absolutely loved it and never took it off. Beautiful rich red and gold colors. Quality fabric and crown and scepter were sturdy enough. Worth every penny.

The crowd is tiny. It does not even fit on an adult head. The staff has no way to connect to the scepter jewel. Both The Crown and the jewel on top of the scepter were already falling apart out of the box. The robe was fine.That was the only part that was fine. Very cheap feeling costume. Scepter did not fit together well at all. Robe is thin and very cheap feeling. Overall very dissatisfied with the quality for almost $50

    • Overpriced, but nice
While I wouldn’t normally have paid $40 for this, I wanted something that came with the full package (crown + cape + scepter), and given that it’s going to be used at the school I work at to entertain kids, I figured that was worth the extra money (though it did pain me a little). Plastic on the crown and scepter is kinda cheap and brittle — the cape is by far the most well done part of the ensemble, but it is definitely some good quality. Crown barely fits my head (way too wide and not deep enough to fit around the head) but unless you’re running around a lot it does just fine. Overall, despite the build quality of the crown and scepter, it all fits together nicely. Pros: - Cape excellent quality - Full package (comes with enough to make a king outfit) - Scepter adjustable - Detailed (cape has lace, scepter head designed well, etc) Cons: - Quality overall probably not worth $40 - Crown and scepter made with cheap plastic — if you’re not careful, the scepter could easily break (especially at full length) - Doesn’t come with instructions (probably not needed, but I was a little confused at first how to put the scepter together) - Scepter parts fit really tightly (kinda got to shove the connector pieces together to make everything fit. If you push it down too much, it’ll probably be hard to take it apart). ... show more

Great costume for our King and Queen arrival at a fun party we had. Ordered only for the robe in the rich ruby jewel color and for the staff which I didn't have a problem keeping together like others have mentioned. I ordered the adjustable crown after reading other reviews. Finished off the outfit by ordering Crubelon Men's Steampunk Vintage Tailcoat which matched the colors perfectly of the dress my Queen wore. ... show more

It was impossible to iron out the wrinkles on the white satin trim. I had to spend over $20 for furry white material from a fabric store and hand sew it over the white satin. I believe the original trim was sewn improperly.

Bought for my sons project for school. He didn’t get to wear it because he like all kids had the dates mixed up and it arrived the day he had ended up presenting the project! But when it arrived and he opened it he said he would have been the best King among all the groups!
