These are really cute and comfortable. Sizing runs just a tad small. I did not like the drawstring so I cut it out. I wanted these to look like normal button/zip jean shorts. The ones I received seem to have a permanent wrinkle in the that will just not flatten, even after coming straight out of the dryer and/or ironing. Love these shorts--length and fraying is ideal! Perfect length for me --I am too old for booty shorts but too young for Bermuda's :) Only negative is they have almost too much stretch --they get big in the waist as the day goes on, so need to wash them more often to shrink back to original size.

These shorts definitely surprised me. Bought them for a warm vacation and was very apprehensive about buying them from Amazon. I am huge about the stretch factor and without being able to physically try them on I was nervous. The stretch was great while the shorts gave a nice held in high waist hold. I ordered my normal size and was happy with the fit. For reference, I am 5' 10" 170lbs with a 34-33" hips. They weren't too cheeky, are a great price and are good quality. I love these stretchy denim shorts. I got a size 10 and they are perfect. The only complaint I have is that the fray at the thighs was a little crooked, so it wore off more when washed than was expected.

I usually wear a large in any shorts that are elastic but went with the measurements and got a XL. Any tighter and it would be way too tight. It’s a thinner material not like jeans but looks like jean shorts
