It's slippery in the bath tub. So if u don't have a bath mat. God luck. I had a csection, and decided to get a storage bin and place the chair inside. Place it on a good level surface and So bath time this way. Not as slippery as the bath tub. And convenient. If baby is fussy, be careful There are no straps and baby can fall. It's easy to dry.
