So I bought this to integrate into a MW6 network I have (I have 3 MW6 nodes). It was a cheaper way to do it rather than buy another MW6 node. It does integrate with the MW6. It took me a bit to figure out how to do it. I called technical support and they were completely useless (cannot understand them because of language barrier). I ended up re-initializing the entire network to get all four nodes working together (3 MW6 & 1 MW3). I put this in a window close to the driveway because there are many times I am entering an address in my map app and it is churning because of a poor wifi signal (clinging on to weak wifi signal instead of dropping it for the cell signal). I am always having to open the phone up to turn off the wifi. The MW3 node now casts a wifi network into the driveway without a problem and I am able to get directions from my app very quickly. ... show more

I was paying for 100 MB download speed before I purchased this product. When I took a internet speed test, I was consistently receiving between 15and 25 MB in downloads and in some places in my house, pages would time out before loading. It’s been 2 weeks since I installed the Tenda and I haven’t had a download speed less than 85 MB (and that occurred in the spot in my house that I had trouble with pages loading). I couldn’t be happier with this product. I had reservations because I didn’t know the company but could not resist with the price point of this product. I’ve recommended this product to family and friends, who all are experiencing similar results. FYI, my home has 2 stories is about 2800 sq feet and I have 2 nodes. Installation was less than 5 minutes and I was up and going very quickly. I love that I haven’t had to reset my Tenda like I was constantly having to do with my other router. ... show more

I was constantly having problems getting a good WiFi signal in the lower level family room of my home built in the late 60's. I has cinderblock walls in the lower levels which make a WiFi signal very hard to pass through. I had bought and used several WiFi extenders and repeaters that worked ok but with only a very weak signal. I was skeptical of buying any of the Mesh WiFi systems because of their cost and not sure that they would work well enough. Well this AC1200 Whole-Home Mesh WiFi System works great. I have 100mps with Verizon FIOS and the signal strength is great in my whole house especially in the lower level family room where I had dead zones. Easy system to set up and I am now getting 60plus mps even in the farthest parts of my home and lower levels of the house. I finally have a strong signal in my lower level family room for streaming and iPad connectivity! ... show more

This product is the Tenda Nova MW3, two-pack. The description could be better. I have had a great experience with the MW3s. At this price point it can't be beat. It is not the most powerful mesh node on the market but should be more than suitable for many home installations. Specifically, I recommend this system for homes with A) No more than 50 Mbps internet connections, B) No more than 20 concurrent connected devices, and C) No busy internal file or streaming servers. If this is your home, you should be very satisfied with the MW3. It is very stable and has a strong signal. Setup is easy. I like the fact that it reboots itself every night (configurable) because even high-end devices can become unstable over time. The 100 Mbps ethernet ports are a tradeoff to affordability. If you have higher bandwidth requirements, then a more powerful system may be better for you. ... show more

Okay… Tenda’s Nova Mesh network is a pretty basic mesh system and leaves a lot to be desired in terms of advanced features and functionality. However, it is very easy to set up and so far, very functional. Doing firmware updates has been like engaging in dental student root canal, so that’s not really a highlight… but otherwise, for the price especially, the system is fine. I bought this single node to connect to an existing nova network and it did so instantly and without hassle. I have a 2000 sq ft 3 story home and this router provides fast and reliable Wi-Fi throughout the entire house. I have the main router upstairs, and the 2nd unit on my main floor, but many of my Wi-Fi connected devices are in the lower level, including a PS4 and Xbox, and I have no issues with online gaming. The initial setup was very easy, and the only real drawbacks I can think of is they are a very light and feel a bit chintzy, and each unit has only one Ethernet port in case you ever need to hardwire a network device. ... show more

I had a convention router with a repeater. Coverage was just okay at times slow with devices that had low WiFi reception. We got the three pack. Our modem is located in the office at one end of the house with the master bedroom on the opposite side. Connected up the first unit to the modem (makes it the master) and then place the other two units even spaced towards the master bedroom. I now can get 150mp in my master when 50-60 was all I could get. The garage was 15-20 is now 50-60. The entire house and Blink cameras work more reliably with strong signals. Wish I did it sooner.
