  • Sheath on the thin side. Easily punctured
Size: 0000 (4/0) AWG Color: 15 Ft. Black
A bit torn on this one. Always had a good experience with Temco products' quality. But this cable has a pretty thin sheath. Cuts like butter... Will likely puncture and tear relatively easily if left on the floor where people can walk on / bump them, like happens a lot with welding cables. My Miller welding cables are way sturdier though still flexible. ... show more

  • great heavy gauge cable
Size: 6 AWG Color: 20 Ft. Red + 20 Ft. Black
I don't weld, but I use Temco's welding cable for when I need to move high current around. It's great for making jumpers because of its great flexibility. I also use it on things like solar controllers, battery cables, etc. It's good, pure copper, and uses a really high strand count for great flexibility. The jacket is an oil-resistant rubber that cuts easily with an xacto knife (not a hard PVC jacket like many others) although you have to be careful if you solder a connector on, as the jacket WILL catch fire. Don't use it around open flame. ... show more

  • Great High Strand Copper Wire
Size: 6 AWG Color: 15 ft. Red + 15 ft. Black
It is hard to find good quality wire. This is great high quality wire. It is well labled on the shielding, made in the U.S.A, it has a high strand count, and is reasonably flexable. I have used multiple AWG from TEMCo on multiple wiring projects. I have used these cables/wires on projects from solar generators, longer wire runs on my truck. These have connected AC chargers, DC2DC chargers, MPPT soloar setups and inverters with this wire/cable. I would have to go back and verify but I have used 2AWG, 4AWG, 6AWG, 8AWG and I think 10AWG from TEMCo and ALL of the quality has been consistent. While I know I mentioned it above, the white lettering on the outside is very useful for pulling wire off the shelf and verifying its the guage you need. ... show more

  • high quality, good price, very flexible!
Size: 2 AWG Color: 15 ft. Red + 15 ft. Black
conductor material is high quality, the price is hard to beat, and if you are wanting a cable that is flexible/maneuverable this style of welding cable is what you need. How flexible is it? Well the order of 15ft of 2 ga both red/black came all coiled up similar to a coil springs appearance, it was no wider than my hand in diameter and about 9" tall! again that was for the combo of red/black, so 2, 2 AWG 15' cables can be wound up in a circle with a diameter of less than 6 inches! If you need something more flexible than that well I don't even want to know what you are attempting to do 😂 As many are likely buying for battery cables, there is no turns you could come across that this couldn't navigate! This will also make for great jumper cables, as the flexibility means it will store away in a much smaller profile than many of the store bought cables. I am likely going to make some this winter, as my old cables have always been a complete hassle to store neatly, and those don't have nearly the capacity as this cable would! If I can come up with a con, it would be(maybe) the insulation is very soft and pliable, feels great, but I would be hesitant to leave the cables naked, as it feel like they could chafe easily in a automotive enviroment. I don't know that they actually would, just more of a feeling. Since I was also going to be running this near the engine, the slightly lower heat rating than SGX Battery cable was also on my mind. this shouldn't have any issue with the majority of cases, I just always have the prepare for the worst mindset.. so I covered the cable with Insultherm sleeving to give it great abrasion resistance and heat protection, and then over that used red colored expandable braid so that it it added a bit of visual appearance as well as should help draw attention to its location as I rerouted cables through areas that would not be as common, and in the unlikely event that a shop ends up doing some work on my vehicle, this should help to avoid any accidental damage due to not being easily visible. is this necessary?... no probably not, but I like to do things in an OCD meticulous type manner, the added protection is peace of mind, and look great too! ... show more

  • Great price and quality !

Nice and flexible !

  • Exactly as advertised
Size: 6 AWG Color: 15 ft. Red + 15 ft. Black
Very good quality, good value, excellent flexibility, very little "coiled" memory. I purchased15 feet of the black and 15 feet of the red 6 AWG wire. When it arrived it was in a much smaller box than I was expecting. The two 15 foot lengths of wire were coiled very tightly together. I thought that it would retain this "spring' like shape after uncoiling it, but I was very pleased that after uncoiling, it straightened out. Some other wire that I have purchased with a vinyl or "plastic" insulation retain a "spring" like condition even though the wire strand count was large and the wire diameter small. Also I see NO evidence of any Aluminum used in the construction of this wire (ie CCA). I would like to comment on an item that interested me. In the description it indicates that the wire is annealed copper. What I found about annealing is that it creates a softer more ductile wire, which contributes to the wire's flexibility. However I also found out that annealed copper is about 2.5% more resistive than hard drawn copper. The magnitude of the copper resistivity is 1.68 as compared to annealed copper resistivity of 1.72 . This is most probably of little concern to most, but maybe there are some that will find this of interest. Righteous buy ... show more
