  • Fits ssr 125
The triple tree is slightly different than the stock ssr 125 one. But does the same job. You'll have to get the inner bearing race pressed on the steering stem. Which is standard. It cost me 5$ at a motorcycle repair/sales shop and took maybe 5 minutes. It comes with outer races, so you'll wanna take out your old races. Theres a process to removing and installing the races that you can youtube. Removing the races was easy, used an extension and hammer to simply hammer them out. Theres a tool you can buy but its 60$ and you'll use it one time. What i did for installing the races was freezing the race and heating up the inside and outside of the neck of the bike with a torch you wanna get it hot enough to expand the metal. I dont have an exact time or temperature for how hot it should be. and a 1.5inch bearing race setting tool. I researched the process extensively and had to rent a setting tool from autozone. You will need an adjustable spanner wrench as well. USE LOCTITE!!\ Do NOT over tighten the bolts that hold the shocks in the triple tree. The triple tree plates will break if you do. I did that to the top plate and thankfully JCMOTO replied to my message almost immediately and are sending a replacement of the top plate. Solid seller right there, so learn from my mistake, please. Overall, good product and good seller. Tools youll need: (based on the methods i used) Inner race pressed on steering stem Metric Allen keys Crescent wrench Bearing race setting tool Spanner wrench Torch Hammer 1 foot extension Freezer Bearing grease LOCTITE ... show more

  • Damaged on arrival and missing parts
Upon opening the box I found a bearing separate from the other pieces. The bearing was flattened in one area and missing balls. The components appear used almost like the product was returned then shipped right to me. It would also be nice to have some basic instructions for installation. Upon further inspection I am also missing the top nut that holds everything together. Extremely disappointed to say the least. ... show more

  • Could Have Been Better
The parts are good, solid quality. The lack of instructions and complete confusion led to me to smack them repeatedly on the ground with no issue. This is a VERY hands on setup, you have to be fortunate enough to “know a guy” or maybe an automotive shop can help press on the inner bearing race however not even my local motorcycle shops had a press available. I heavily modified my top tube and, with a COMBINATION of different parts from my old steering rack, (didn’t use included, likely recommended bearings) was able to fashion it together securely. Only after hitting it with a hammer for the last adjustment did one of the shocks begin to pour out fluid. There’s the story, I messed up, they messed up, WE messed up but with any amount of determination YOU can make it happen :) ... show more

  • Beefy
These forks are a great centerpiece for my first minbike. Actually it's a mini chopper. I highly recommend these forks if you need a triple tree that's straight up beefcake.
