I used a measuring cup. The cup-capacity is only 5.5 oz. The Tea Pot can only hold 16 oz; without liquid squirting out of the spout. I reached out to the seller, to no avail. Amazon gave me a partial refund for not getting the sizes and capacity I paid for. AMAZON GETS 5 STARS!

I like the teaset. It looks fine and seems to work OK. The biggest problem I have with mine is the smell... I was so excited to use it. I made a cup of tea, but the tea had this odd flavor and smell. I thought, it was more to do with the tea that I made at the time...but then, I made a few more cups and noticed the same thing... My tea kept getting flavored by the smell of the lid! I eventually separated the lid from the teapot and noticed the smell was there and would not go away. So far I've tried handwashing, dishwasher, coating it in mineral oil... nothing has worked. I'm thinking the adhesive is the source of the smell. I don't know if this is typical of this set or if I'm just the unlucky one.... Outside of that, its a fine tea set. I struggle to give a low score because the set seems ok...I haven't noticed anyone else with this issue comment either, but the smell makes it unusable for me. hopefully it off-gases overtime. ... show more
