Bought a new gun, needed a new bag. Researched extensively as I always do. After 2 weeks of fairly focused analysis I kept coming back to this case. Veteran owned and operated along with the positive reviews was ultimately why I "pulled the trigger" and got this case. The case arrived the day it was scheduled, boxed and bagged neatly. Immediately upon unwrapping it I could feel the quality, forethought, and durability in my hands. The material is heavy duty without being uncomfortably heavy. The seems are flawless and rock solid. The zippers are perfectly aligned and sturdy. The zips, pulls, flaps, pouches, and compartments are well designed to centralize or distribute weight per the user's choice and access is a great mix of secure and simple. This 36" bag very comfortably holds my AR 15 (stock collapsed) but my AK (the new gun) is about 1/2 too long even diagonally packed. First of all, I'm the dummy that didn't measure my gun (I erroneously trusted the dimensions in the manual and posted online, those rascally Serbians), but... removing the flash hider/muzzle break (a cinch with a classic AK) and it fits snugly when diagonally packed with no excess strain on the zippers or fabric at the corners or anywhere else. The packable shoulder straps are perfect. The height of the top of the strap distributes the weight just under the shoulder blades (ergonomically correct position for short or long term hauling), the padding is comfortable without being bulky, and the chest strap keeps the whole thing from sloshing around on your back when you're on the move. The luggage-style hand strap is wide enough not to cut into your hand but not too big to cause hand fatigue. It has a burly Velcro fold-over flap that aids in securing the handles as well as ergonomic feel. The whole bag can be cinched tight with strong straps and heavy duty clasps for even less sloshing in transit. I've only used the bag once to go the the range but it performed flawlessly. The bag holds 2 handguns, 6 mags (or more if you get creative), 2 assault rifles, 6 rifle mags (more in the dump bags if you want), and room for more stuff if you use the 2 molly sections on both ends of the front of the bag. Frankly I'm staggered at the value (quality for cost) of this bag. From novice to special ops soldier, this bag should meet and exceed all your needs. After searching for a softbag for the last few months, i had received an update email from Jacob at Tacticon regarding the recent release of the Double Rifle Bag. I immediately jumped on this bag as the previous items purchased through Tacticon have always been of fantastic quality. The previous items have been items such as BUIS, optics, and Holsters - I am yet to experience any of the items that include more attention to detail, such as this Double Rifle Bag. In my opinion, the bag is extremely well designed and far exceeded my expectations. Now that I have it in hand, I can say the material is definitely higher quality than I was originally expecting, the stitching is well done and secure. There are no loose contact points, the clasps are tight, and straps don't feel like they will frey over a few months. Also, the way the Backpack straps are secured/hidden is fantastic, and are easily collapsed back into the back if you would rather carry the bag as a standard rifle case. As stated in the item description, the Zippers also allow for a small lock to be used for increased security. There is plenty of room for a minimum of the four firearms to be safely secured in the bag without concern of rubbing or knocking against one another - more if you really needed to. The additional storage compartments have more than enough room for range gear, mags, first aid kit, etc. I purchased this bag at the original release price of 70$ for the 36" model, which after receiving the bag and putitng it through a few range days - this price is more than generous. I normally do not take the time to write reviews, but this product is above and beyond my expectations. Please read if you’re on the fence about this bag! I recently purchased this 42” battle bag in black. While closely inspecting the bag, I found no issues. The seams all look to be very well stitched, and I love the combination of Velcro, buckles, and bungee cords for keeping the pouches closed and items inside. The zippers feel very heavy duty and padding on the inside will definitely protect rifles being carried. I can tell that this bag was designed very well. After inspecting, I packed the bag up with an AR-15, a 30-30 lever action, and two handguns. I was also able to fit ear pro, gloves, extra magazines and a few boxes of bullets. That was no where near packed full, but it was enough for me to get an idea. The bag carries well. The handle feels durable and is wide enough that it doesn’t cut into your palm/fingers. The backpack straps conceal very nicely, and also seem to be strong. They’re padded, and include a chest buckle to ensure the bag stays in position on your back. Additionally, the customer service is great from my one interaction so far. When I registered for the lifetime warranty on this bag, I picked the wrong product. Johanna in customer service was very quick to fix my mistake and was very nice during the interaction. Thanks Johanna! Once again, great product, and great customer service. The bag is awesome!!! I love that you can carry it as a suitcase or wear it as a backpack if you want to go hiking and choose to bring some hardware with you!!! Now I’m ready for any type of shooting range!!! I might purchase the next size up too…bigger guns are on the way!!!
